The more info they get, the easier for them to solve it.
If it is for example only happening to people using Windows XP SP3 with Nvidia Cards it would be much easier to focus on those specific things.

Obviously, but this is a network issue not a configuration issue.
And if they wanted any specific info why didn't she ask for it.

He didnt ask for it because it is written quite clearly at the support-form.

No, it doesn't say so - stop being contrary for no reason, you obviously have no or little insight into hard/software if you think your graphics card would cause connection issues.

Seriously? It was a freaking EXAMPLE, I am well aware that it is highly unlikely that a graphic card will cause connection issues.

I doubt it happens to a specific target, it's just their servers going to afterlife..I personally played just fine til now, and in this moment I hear nobody that can manage to log so...I doubt specifics more detailed then ip/country can help.

We have ONE player in our whole alliance that have had that trouble, and it is one of the biggest currently alive. I doubt the issue is as widespread as you make it out.

Just because you don't know about the people having the issue doesn't mean it's NOT THERE. All of my Guild members have this issue, plus as I'm sitting playing gw with my boyfriend on the same internet, I'm actually the one of us having the biggest problem, as I can't logg in further than the character screen...

I've found a temporary solution i wish to share: If your EU character can't be logged into, switch characters to find one thats inside the guild hall. Hopefully the one in the guild hall will load meaning you can map travel to one of the other cities such as GTOB or Lions arch, select american district. Now if you swtich characters then you should be able to play the others.

I noticed many guilds aren't logging in the GvG mat , resulting in matchs not counting. I noticed as well A LOT of errors 007 and code 040 in HoH and Codex.
I didn't experience any problem in PvE/JQ/RA/Festive arenas, although they're probably 10 times more active than GvG and HA at the moment...

I couldn't log into any of my characters, but found a quick workaround by creating a PvP character, which entered the temple of balthazar no problem. I then switched to a US district and everything seems to be working now.

Thanks for the suggestion, sadly I have no chars in gh Well it's now two full days of 007 and 040...and I've heard many can't connect to the gw2 beta as well and I guess the servers are the same ones...In all of gw history I've never seen such a bad time.

I find the opposite is true, almost.
I have several characters (mules) in GH, they have exactly the same problem.
I have managed to log in AND switch to american districts - everything fine after that.
BUT - it seems to me your guild hall is tied to your "home" region (Euro), so if you visit your GH, you are likely to d/c and you're back to square one (Euro districts). Same thing will happen if you log out, and log back in using a character that is in the GH.
If you manage to get in and also manage to switch to non-euro district...
STAY AWAY FROM YOUR GUILD HALL!

i tried logging in international districts (which i always use)
i sent a post to the report, which the dev told us to, but no solutions or replies
still waiting to be able to get some more GW done before GW2 really is released, and get more items, which i miss for almost 24 hours by now o_O (just less than 15 minutes left for that)
i sure hope there'll be a solution anytime soon, before the anniversary event ends, and my tokens will rust away in my bags (i wanna trade em for bday cupcakes, lol)
and the time to do more in GW before GW2 dies mostly, is running out.... sigh, GW2 already making it harder for me
ps. i'm getting help lately to do certain stuff on some chars, so i have to count on someone else, who will of course play GW2 once its out
thought i just explain why i'm kinda worried, as i also explained i wont join GW2 for reasons
anyway, i hope they will be able to do something soon enough, as i cant play for almost a whole day by now, plz anet.... i'm waiting (not complaining, just worried)

oh, my other account CAN get in GW, with bit of lag in the logging in part, but still o_O
too bad i barely use that account.... so its NOT the country, looks more like they randomly choose accounts to not let on GW or something
can anyone tell me why this is like this?
EDIT: i was in EU... weird, as i always do stuff in inter.
it works for me now, lets hope it stays like that
maybe its anet who let me through, maybe i'm lucky (which is rare)

yeah it seems to work now finally, even if connecting and loading are being extremely slow...I hope we won't get errors again tomorrow.

It's almost certainly a load thing. I was able to log in last night around this time to kick off some nine rings AFK but couldn't so much as change instance once i came back 13 hours later. Just make sure you log off in an american district.

It took very long to download the client when i was reinstalling, and then when I tried loading german dis in LA it would say I need to download 5000+files but never started :/
Finally I was able to play when i left it on for one night in the load screen XD
Probably all the beta downloads slowing the anet servers down

Well, I switched to US districts so I could finish off R3 Zaishen.. everything was ok for an hour or 2, little slow but working.
Then Mr Bond and his mate found me again.
Doesn't seem to matter what dists you're in, the servers are knackered ATM.
