The game is finished. Everyone has at least one GWAMM allready. This is just nice for people who still want to make a new PVE character and thats fine.

This is nice; shame it's several years too late for anyone to care, but it's still a good move in principle

I'm sure the faction changes were simply to promote AB over other means of faction gain.
The PvE skill change was a good one since the original design of those skills was beyond retarded.

Playing AB this weekend is lovely. Loads of points, even for your hard work when you lose, and matches that don't take half an hour to start (in fact, take several seconds or one minute).
Playing as the underdog is actually worth it now.

Thank you Anet for giving AB the update it deserves. Wait, what's that? It's 4 years late? Damn, well, it's the thought that counts?
Couldn't care less about the eotn titles. All it's done is make me laugh even harder at [DL] because their members (if they still exist) grinded their asses of to get useless titles to do 4 more damage and still suck at the game, for nothing.

I still do not have a gwamm (25 titles is as close as I have)....so not everyone has one (nor do any of my guildmates).
just glad they are still doing updates at this point since the team moved over to gw2---
already have the sweet title ----now for the chest running title update
tumbleweeds
more tumbleweeds
more
and
more
guess I will just have to wait a few more years then

Why do you care how much effort other people have to put into something? And why would less effort required in this game effect GW2 other then seeing more fluff? Just because something doesn't take weeks/months/years anymore doesn't mean it no longer requires effort.
I'm 99% sure Anet will continue to nerf this game and make getting HoM/GWAMM significantly easier.
For starters, as GW2 gets closer to release, some stuff will become increasingly harder to acquire as the population plummets. People who are still here, especially people who have bought the game in the last months specifically because of HoM, will not be happy at the prospect of not being anywhere near finished with what they payed for.
Second, theres the problem of continuing to sell GW1 after GW2 releases. I haven't seen them confirm or deny that they will do this yet, so correct me if they have, but it only makes sense business wise that they would
If they do do this, its possible the population will spike again, but with more people from the general MMO community. I can tell you from experience, when that group of people sees how much time and effort it will take to get HoM/GWAMM, and how much that will take out of GW2 time, they will be furious.
So unless Anet wants to experience the kind of whining that Blizzard has for the past 7 years from its player base, they will pretty much be forced to apply all around nerfs to the game.
There are people who have played this game since release who put years of hard work into getting these things. They will say its not fair. My question to those people is why do you care? Its a video game. Were talking about cosmetic fluff.
If you enjoyed the game while you played it, thats all that should matter to you. Don't concern yourself with how much enjoyment other people get, or how much effort they want to put in to get it.
"But it effects my gameplay too. They are making the game too easy and its effecting my experience."
Theres a million different ways to make the game more challenging for yourself, and you know it.

It already was. There was a time where you were stuck working on this with just one character.

i dont have GWAMM at all, but i played these almost 7 years to have fun with others and make some kinda roleplaying chars.... and do events like wintersday and such for fun
tbh, i dont even try to get GWAMM, as i dont like all titles enough to get em, i mostly am busy with proph titles and done like all eotn ones on my main
just need LDoA and cartographer (which i wish would be able to get through exploreable missions in proph tbh... yea, thought about that mostly after i suggested it)
i may do elona and cantha carto's, but not sure if i even bother, i have the missions done on NM already
oh, a lil too offtopic, sry
anyway, this move makes people do it more, as we can get our skills easier to max without being forced to grind
i'll do kurz with vqing kurz areas, as i dont AB... but i wanna get it to last rank, just for fun
i think whats left in GW now, are roleplayers, people who enjoy redoing old stuff, people who enjoy farming/grinding and those who still need/want their titles for HoM or just for fun (like me, i want em for fun, as i wont even join GW2)
so giving us stuff making the game easier to get stronger (not easier by itself, imo), will make people have fun more in Anet's only game for now, until their next game comes out... only natural i think
i love to see lower ranks having max effects of skills, so that those who stay, wont need to redo every grind just to get the most out of these skills
those who dont like it, prolly only think "hey!! i had to go through alot more, so others have to suffer through the same" and that wouldn't be good advertism for GW2, imo
let GW be a bit easier to play through, as the skills now can be used earlier, and HoM still requires them to be maxed, which most people (even myself) have done by now
thats what i think is going on now, the last few months in GW, after that GW2 will be first priority.... and after a while they may have done enough, so that some devs can return to GW, i think.... i hope

Very fun to see so many people in AB. A bit disappointing that the border is still very much static, though. After playing both yesterday and today, I saw Etnaran Keys only once and then it went back to Kaanai Canyon in the next rotation. The reward boost was needed, but something else needs to be changed to fix the problem with the border being stuck in the deep territory maps.

Map change should be brought down to 2 hours instead of the current 3.

Not even close to a GWAMM. I think I have like 10 titles (and most notably only maxed 3 PvE Skill titles). A lot of people could care less about grinding out titles and the ones link to the PvE skills are the very definition of a grind.

AB is back and that is totally a good thing. When the FA and JQ stuff started seeing mroe play, it first seemed like a great thing. AB is so much fun. Even when matches go bad, I don't care. Nice to see a resurgence of the format.

Aye, played some AB yesterday for the first time in years. Really love the fact that it seems to be very much alive again.
