They ought to fix their current game before they sell a new one with all the sameness as the original.

I don't know what game you're thinking of but from what I've read and actually played myself, GW2 is very different from the original. The only element that's even remotely the same is the lore and setting. The gameplay, NPCs, skill sets, etc. are all revamped and, in my opinion, better.

I wish I had the coding experience to go into Guild War's skills list and single-handedly deliver such an amazing update that would bring every PvPer back into GvG and HA. I'd make so many bad-@$$ changes to them skills that everybody would rejoice in it, and get to re-live some truly memorable PvP moments. Same for PvE, even!

Skill updates alone will not bring back the majority of those who left in the pvp community exodus.

The exodus was attributed to the ballooned skill pool after NF release and the lack of any pvp content from NF along with retarded skills such as Blinding Surge and Invoke Lightning. The damage is done, nothing will bring them back.

I would give them a break if they made platinum limit in storage 100.000 and if they unlocked all storage panels, and increased a stack from 250 to 1000 items.

Why have issues with user complaint?
You don't have to take part or read it and it's easily avoidable.
A large part of any gaming forum is to give such issues, concerns, whines, etc a medium to be voiced and anyone who has used gaming forums for more than a few weeks knows it comes with the format.
Every user/consumer has a right to voice their opinion, be it praise or critique, and no....Guild Wars is not perfect so telling people to "get over it" or "man up" is futile and contradicts one of the core reasonings for gaming forums to even exist.
It's like diving into a pool and then complaining that's it's wet.
Personally I find complaint about complaint by carebears more annoying especially when it's up to the forum user as to what they choose to read or not read.
Irony intentional.

Don't get me wrong, despite its faults, Guild Wars has been extremely fun to play. I feel that overall, Guild Wars has been an extraordinary first offering.
That being said, the excuses aren't exactly meaningful when they're constant.
*Guild Wars Prophecies/Factions/Nightfall/Eye of the North was just released, there are bound to be bugs that crop up unexpectedly. It's going to take time to stamp them out.
*Guild Wars Factions/Nightfall/Eye of the North/Guild Wars Utopia/2 is/was under development. Staff resources available to deal with problems in the live game have been diminished. It's going to take extra time to deal with them.
*Guild Wars is at the end of its lifespan. Staff resources are at an all-time low. Give them more time.
Not that this is some Guild Wars exclusive phenomena. It's pretty much par for the course for gaming.

Guild Wars was a great game and is still a good game, but after 7 years it's time to move on to a bigger and better GW2. ANET has gotten as much out of GW as possible and I think they have shown they can take criticism. We wouldn't still be talking about the game after 7 years if they were thin skinned, complain away people.
