Ysulan Silverarrow R/Mo: Inspired from Baldurs Gate: DA2 and my first character. Ysulan Unduil was the moon elf necromancer. He had been remplaced by...
Tirsha Silverarrow R/Mo: Kinda funny to change male to female char. Ysulan sister and Ranger from Champions of Norrath. Pantera is her stalker's name.
Blue Cathor N/Mo: My necro who has been between life and death. Heal my party and use Corpses to attack. The build I wanted to create has never worked anyway... Delete
Karmina Of NarniaN/R/E: After reading the first two books and seeing the movie, I wanted to create a Char from that world (just one). So, I decided to create a Vampire (Karmina DUH). I wanted to name her Jadis Of Narnia but its already taken. Her pet's name is SilverFangs (Elderwolf), the name of the snow wolf of Ysulan Silverarrow before.
Malinium IphisisMe/N: Very a long story. I've got like 10 000 mesmer deleted to finish with him and keep him alive as long as I can. His First Malinium has the French word ''Malin'' in it. Everybody knows how a mesmer can be tricky. And for Iphisis, Something original and maybe egyptian with ''isis'' at the end.
So for now, my characters are: Tirsha Silverarrow, Malinium Iphisis and Karmina of Narnia. The fourth slot is used to test and create new builds in PvP and PvE (Isle of Nameless for practice) or Play PvP with my Water Elementalist: Blue Shard

My chars and their names with some explanations
Anilya Alabaster - Anilya just sounded as a cool first name when I created her, and Alabaster comes from MtG-card Alabaster Potion..... a healing spell in that game and she's a pure healer too, hence the name.
Misa Foulmouth - Surprising surname for a Curse-necro :P
Crista Greenleaf - My only Ranger to survive past Pre-Searing. Actually just reserved the name if there ever will be elves... [still wishing]
Luna Moonflower - Luna is moon in latin (I think) and I was trying to get her lastname to be Crescent. It was taken... so I spent a long time thinking for a good name for a blonde monk. And I really think I found a good one...
And then come ap Gwynneth-family, Rea, Shanna, Lyra and others. The surname was created way back in time when I still was playing AD&D with my rp'ing group. I took it in the use and just begun to take various first names as it seemed that all the good names were already taken (and I'm not gonna be Adwqrth Grztbhn..... I want to be able to pronounce my chars names myself)

hokay...
Kedric Troltwatter was my first char, a Wammo who likes to twat trolls. That word is UK English slang for slap or similar. Guild Wars filters the word twat as it's also a mild expletive. Then again, GW filters 'damn'.
Old Man Trigger/Old Man Messy - after I joined a guild for the first time, people found the fact that I'm in my forties quite amusing. So I go with the flow - I like using the 'Old Man' prefix so people know what they're getting!
Trigger is a nickname I've been blessed with since early teens when I walked into my local bar proudly wearing my new cowboy boots.
'Oh look, it's Trigger!' said one friend.
'Why, cos he looks like a cowboy?'
'No, he looks like a frickin horse!'
It stuck. (And for you Brits out there - I was Trigger BEFORE Fools and Horses!)
Old Man Messy is a Mesmer :/
Think I'll start up a nice female Ellie next - Old Man Woman.
That'll fix 'em!

X I Devona I X - (W/Mo) - Who's this named after?
Karis Longshot - (R/Mo) - No idea where the Karis bit came from but the Longshot obviously says "hey look at me! i'm a ranger!". Oh - I made her because I got a Drago's Vamp Flat drop.
Karis Overseer - (Mo/Me) - Still don't know where the Karis is from but I nicked the Overseer from the Charr. Yoink!
Karis <insert name> - (?/?) - My yet to be made char.
Then theres my old mesmer's name: Paraffin Macrogol - I got the name from the back of a tube of medicine... hey! Its original!

Nadeen The Purple (mesmer) - first is personal and as for the Purple part, anyone with a female mesmer should know why I picked purple if they look at their mesmer with no armor on.
Darth Phobos (warrior) - starwars and I always liked the Phobos moon of Mars
Darth Psp (necro) - I was excited about my new PSP but to this day I have no idea why I actually went through and kept the name without rerolling.
NADEEN (monk) - Personal
Em Enoon (ranger) - Nick name for Nadeen.
Darth Elaine Dance (male ele) - still in pre but I thought its just a funny name because of the sienfeld dance.

The names I use are all variants or direct copies of character names that I've used in my writing. For the most part, anyway... As strange as this may sound, I also use the game to test names against skill structures, as an aid to character creation and development for my novels.
There's no real explanation behind any of the names I use/have used. When creating a name I choose a letter that I'd like it to start with, then cycle through the alphabet until I find another letter that compliments the first in some phonetic sense. Lather, rinse, repeat until I'm satisified.
Some past and present names include:
Teirin Delandir
Anastasia Bhronn
Kiven Meller
Bastian Staebor

Well, I tried to keep a "Lord" theme to my names (not because i'm an egotist, just so it would match the first name I ever used).
Ranger - Lord Iowerth (named after a runescape ranger ... shoot me)
Warrior - Lord Mauler (hah, named after one of my favorite battletech mechs )
Necro - Death Rasp (couldn't use lord, as she's a girl, and sounds scary)
Monk - Lord of Healers (who is ironically now a prot monk)
Mesmer - Mesmer Riffic (yes, ran out of good names)
Ele - Titan Themis (Themis was a greek earth titan in mythology, my ele is an earth ele, you see the correlation)
Ranger # 2 - Im a Pack Mule (take a wild guess)
and PvP chars either get "The Harmless Ranger" for ranger builds, or "Really Im Harmless" for everything else (and sometimes "Samuel L Jackson" when I make a PvP monk)

Well first of all my surname, Lihatuh. Completely made up... sort of. It's actually a mix of my online friends real last name and the last name always used in their characters. Onto my chars:
Pevil, R/*: My first and main. I always have rangers as my first chars and Pevil is always my online alias. Comes from a year 10 (thats age 14 - 15 for americans) biology class where we were doing some experiment that involved crushing peas, and I ended up being called an evil pea for some reason. Striders name: Deathbird. Dunno why, originally in the beta it was Choccy (coz striders/moas look like chocobos ) but then I had no inspiration and realised the bird usually did better than me, so the reincarnation was called Deathbird.
Lutze, Mo/*: Second character, named after the Sweeper in the Discworld novels, my favourite books. She's actually female whereas the guy in the novels is male, but oh well, whaddya gonna do?
Gearrika, Me/*: Third char, was just a name that someone suggested to me, originally for a male Necro as Gearrik, and I decided I wanted a female Mesmer and added the a.
Rinoxya, W/*: Ok well this is a mickey take I have a great online friend who I talk to a lot and we have this insult/insult relationship Anyway I bought him GW as a christmas present and his online name is always Rinox, and he's usually a dwarven berserker type. So naturally, my warrior needed to be a female warrior who acts just as dumb as him
Stariana, E/*: Just a name I made up when I first made an Ele (then deleted her after about 2 hours). Sounds sorta mystical and magical so I stuck to it when I remade her.
Shadra, N/*: Again, simply made up, but this time it was made up in UO. I tend to find a few char names I like and then stick with them in all games, and this one just sounds kinda like she belongs in the shadows...
Dye Collector, R/*: My odd mule type char. She's in pre atm, and will be for a long time, partly to do as her name suggests and partly coz i'm using her to get pretty pictures for my desktops

About 3 years ago I was wanting a cool gamertag for my cpu games, one that could identify me and stand out from the rest. I literally spent about 5 hours doing charts of things I could base it on and came up with KATTOX: fast as a cat (K sounded better) strong as an ox.
Well um I've used Kattox as a name for my people for quite a while now but I realised it wouldnt work well as a girls name. So when i created my main (W/Mo) who was a girl I wanted to do something different. So i used the first name of the girl I fancied at the time and a random cool sounding last name and there you go; Becca Rownbridge.
For PvP chars I go for Kattox for blokes or Kassie for girls cause I cant copy Becca can I?
On a side note after I invented Kattox as my tag, about a year after in fact, while on holiday in Ibiza I found out that Kattox is the brand name of a spanish herbal laxative. LOL

Denny is my wife's nickname. Pace is my wife's maiden name. It takes the edge off as she watches the back of my head during my 20+ hours per week away from here and on Guild Wars.
Somehow, this has worked for me!

All my names are after Linsys = Linux System (Administrator)...
In real life I'm a Unix Hacker (large companies pay me and my company a lot of money to "hack" into their networks and design security models to prevent real hackers from getting in and destroying their business).
I also ran the ever so popular intrusionsec.com website... we where one of the first Hacker War Games sites on the internet.. and at one point we where pulling over 5,000 visitors a day.... thats me!
Although people always confuse my name with linksys.. which is annoying... and my friends call me "Router Boy" just to make me mad! lool
