Yeah, but I've been holding on to things he's already collected that are a PITA to farm. Figure I'd rather be safe than sorry for a couple of months until we see if he's going to repeat or not.

Not at all fair. Can't farm this week so can't get those presents. They should make the area accessible to all. My nearest character is 7 quests away from the area. Not happy at all

The areas Nicholas visits are as accessible as they can make them. Finishing a campaign, such as Nightfall, on at least one character is no less essential than ID'ing all the whites you don't salvage or not buying materials from traders.

Once I looked on Wiki to see what these were, I was pretty sure I didn't have any. Luckily though I went through my mules and found 10. Easy week for me.

@ the complaints of difficulty this week - Guys! This week is SUPER EASY! Start in Basalt Grotto, exit towards Joko's Domain, get in wurms, kill 4 large groups of crags, repeat. Takes like 30 min.
You *can* avoid two small insect patrols to get the wurms, or you can just kill them. Otherwise, don't kill anything but crags. Zip-Zop.

Carinae is exactly right. First run was 2 stones, 2nd none, 3rd 1 stone, 4th one stone. I had one in storage. Not much time at all. That was with a full party. This was right outside The Bone Palace.

After trying several of the heroes-in-worms farms mentioned here, I tried this with solo spirit-spam+Pain Inverter. I'm not crazy about worm skills and the groups of awakened were annoying me. This was by far the easiest and most productive farm for me. Averaged 1-3 stones per run at 10 minutes each. Plus got a few diamond and sapphire essences in case he ever wants those again (otherwise, I'll be taking my chances with an expert salvage kit). Thanks, June Bug!

Nicholas is hanging around in the Vulture Drifts and shouts for Forgotten Seals (2-10).

First rooms of the dragon's lair mission is a good place to farm those.

And in case people haven't got Dragon's Lair, you can farm the Enchanteds outside Dunes of Despair outpost.

Got all outside Dunes of Despair, Ranger SoS easy. At first I got maybe 2 in about 10 runs. Then I think ANet turned up the drop rate because I got 4 in one run and 4 in the next. Or it might just be roll of the dice. But I prefer to think ANet finally did something nice. Usual stuff but another 10 mysterious summoning stones are always welcome!

I'm going on nothing but superstition here, but I have this belief that the more something is farmed, the less it drops. I get absolutely horrendous Nick drops on Mondays. But the same farm will yield better results later in the week.
Commence laughing now.

Very good tip. I forgot self heal and while I managed to make it due to vampirism I can recommend some kind of self heal. I managed to solo until the crystal guardian elementalists somehow I spawned in the room and they attacked immediately. I got all the seals I needed and some more in one run through some rooms.
Somehow I expected to die in the mesmer room but stupidly enough I made it through :/

Thanks for the tip, this build worked nicely: OANEQsVN+JVPgTqCZ4QTKSoPIPA
Kill Bows first, then Hammers, keep swords as they fuel your energy.
Got 10 in no time.
