Not sure but im having a guess that some players are not woc enabled and in theory if it is bugged then they should spot him or woc players shud find him.Wik conflicted with nick but if i recall he only showed to wik chrs - which also proves my theory from above.
What needs to be done is groups of woc and non woc players should try seeking him - and if you do make sure no one ( and i mean no-one ) has done any woc quests as i discovered on a non woc chr and a guildie who was woc enabled - scavengers still spawned in cho`s estate where wik never showed wik foes if a non wik was in team.

Shenzun tunnels, cliffs of dohjok, fahranur - the first city, Boreas seabed and nahpui quarter. no joy in any of them

Monastery overlook (yeah, he'd be spotted quickly there)
Benjing Pier (my spelling is off, those docks off Kaineng)
Zaishen Menagerie
Isle of the Nameless
Bokka's Ampitheater
Chahbek Village explorable area

I'm pretty much sure not. There aren't enough places left for him to be for those to be plausible locations.

I think KIDGOOCH means the remaining collectible items he might be asking, to figure out the areas he might be in (meaning he might revisit an area but asking for a different item). There was a wiki page (in a user's space) with his/her calculation about the odds of each remaining item to be asked by Nicholas, but I can't find it again, maybe someone has the link to it.

If you mean Kanda's trophy predictions and TEF's Item-of-the-Week predictions they are both listed on Nicholas the Traveler page near the bottom just above the Trivia

The problem is that those predictions are based on only the items found in the locations that Nick hasn't visited yet. So if you're thinking he's re-visiting a past location, then those predictions aren't gonna help you much.
