Mmm ... chocolate frosted griffon wings. Nic better give something good in return or I'll eat all the wings myself!

unless he was collecting raptor parts, I can't think of an area that was farmed more heavily in guild wars over the years than the griffons outside rankor. Except maybe the griffons in the desert.

Ewwww. Snake Dance. I don't mind Ice Floe, but hate Snake Dance. And if I remember correctly, the drop rate on frosted griffon wings suck.
I missed last week, maybe I'll skip this week, too. I'm busy with my vanquishing title/cartographer title on Cantha anyway.

hmmm trolls or minotaurs maybe!
but yeh a nice easy one, i always remember when they first introduced the shield from the collector just outside rankor. was online late farming away and rankor town locked out, knew somet was going off and found the new shields straight away. Mass wing farm ensued and i made a killing selling the shields in LA before anyone caught on

Hmm... maybe I'll try it with my rit. Spirit Spam seems ftw no matter where I go and since it's so much damn fun, maybe it won't be a tedious grind.

Anyone remembers hydras in Crystal Desert? Although they might be extinct by now considered how mindlessly farmed they were.

I take the same path as posted above...but the boss was simple...just kite a bit and keep throwing spirits down.

Hmm, 5 in 15 minutes, even the boss died (but no drops from him, of course). Nothing dropped for the first 10 minutes, then all of them fell, whammo!
Maybe next time I bring a running skill or cupcake (need 10 more, actually had 5 saved for some unknown reason)...

Drink Red Bull. It gives you wings.
But, if you use a spirit spammer - take Summon Spirits... use it when Griffons cast Symbol of Wrath to avoid them taking the AoE damage. Your spirits will last much longer this way. If you're quick you can use this when they cast Holy Strike too. Don't use Summon for the boss, spread spirits out, keep kiting and recast spirits as they fall. I didn't take Painful Bond - Griffons use Smite Hex.

Ha, I take it back. It took a while for the first wing to drop, but once they started the rest came easy. Even got one extra on the way to Nicholas.
Annnddd... finally got a Moss Spider Egg!
