4 runs i got 15 claws and i went to get my gifts. i got 10 myst summon stones, 10 normal ales 5 tonics and a IDS! weeee the only good thing. now i have to decide to sell or keep it.

Used the R/Rt build... on my nec (sup endless energy) and got all 15 in about 45 mins. May go out and farm for the lazy people/people who go "farming is too hard wah /wrists" ^_^

I really don't know what people are expecting. I mean... those are the types of items that drop. I'd actually not want a worthless green item that I don't need and can't sell. Give me ales that can actually be sold quickly or used instead. The only "nice" item I actually would actually keep is the minipet.

It's like with anything in life... people play the lotto daily to make a quick few bucks (million or 5)...
Nicolas and his gifts is nothing different, to be able to get relatively easy items (presents) and open them to get a chance of a fairly expensive minipet - One of which most people will probably sell, since it is the most money they will ever have or come close to having in GW... thus they get upset with not getting 'good' items.
lol... it may even be the hardcore farmers that get upset on not getting any 'returns' on their time investment.
You never know with people these days, they are funny that way.

I have received a Gwen chan, 2 Ascalon Razors, a VDS and an IDS so far - I haven't sold any of them.
I am still keeping all my other items too and spreading the love so to speak.

Anyway, I have farmed 53 claws so far. The prices have come down fairly quickly in the last 2 hours, from 3k-2k-1.5k-1k and now last one I saw was 500g. It should stay at about that price for the rest of the week - 300-500g per claw. At most 1k, I think there will be a fair amount of farming going on, so the price will be dropping because of that.

I am using a Spirit farming build on my necro, averaging 7-10 claws per run, doing a rectangle shape-run in the middle of the Verdant Cascades, killing all the Skelks (except if too many Scourgers, 4+), and then some Wind Riders (boss group) too, 50-60 enemies or so, 20min runs.
1-3 chests on the run too for lucky / unlucky.
I've had one lockpick drop so far, all runs in NM.

I've been using 600/smite with essence and blessed aura, 10 points in insp, and the two visages to drain energy. Smiter has balth spirit, vital, the two smites, rebirth, blessed sig, purge sig and BiP.

Cuts through the skelk in no time at all. Even the groups with the monk boss or 4 or more scourgers spamming heaven's delight. Just pull them all to a nearby rock with the wall on your right so they dont break aggro and let the visages drain all their energy whilst the smites kill em.

I used 600 with dual visage aswell, threw in radiation field just for kicks, adds quite some speed tbh. Got claws in no-time, after that went to try the new spiritspam stuff, got another 10 claws in 10 min solo. NM ftw, they seem to drop like candy there o.o

I tried a run with Discord heroes. Got one single claw. Then did a solo run with a spirit spamming ritualist, got 14 claws.

Dunno about you, but I'm going to stick to the solo farming when I can.

Went solo Perma and got 5
Went in a team (most died including me and rage quit leaving bounty) I waited them out and went back and claimed them all 4 more after rez
Went with 3 heros necro spirit spamer and heal necro MM heal and a smiter got 4

So not much differance for me

It's kind of boring to do the traveler deal with such easy farms. I think the Gloom Seeds week was the most fun of all of them.

oh the packrat comes thru again...had dozens of them thar claws in storage....however; nic and I dont seem to see things the same way....15 mysterious tonics, 5 crates of fireworks (that I cant use since my guild has no need of a guild hall) and 10 rockets....

For me, the Gloom seed week and this week have been the most profitable by far. I spent maybe two hours using that R/Rt spirit spamming build and managed around 100k this week, and solo Burning Arrow forest farmer made short work of the gloom seeds. The hardest farm/most frustrating farm for me so far has been the sapphire djinn essences...

Crap for presents, though, on both my accounts.

Id have to agree with you divine.

Juni berries + Skelk have been the most profitable, i made 80k+ yesterday and i wasn't even doing it all day. (using spirit spam, but on a necro primary, it works on all proffessions... energy isn't a problem).

Yes.. definately sapphire djinn essences.. i only managed to farm 1 essence in 1-2 hours, ended up buying the rest..
