LOL, I've gotten many 20/20 resto offhands for heroes using these trophies. They're also used for the New Years festival. So, you should be saving them.

I used to packrat and save all trophies. Changed that, and now only save trophies used in events or with good collector weapons, and vendor/salvage those that I have less than 5 of. I still have about 50 different stacks of trophies.

10 mercantile summoning stones
10 champagne poppers

what I actually got:

10 jars of honey
5 red rock candies
5 bunny tonics

Is it just bad luck for me or has Nicholas started getting stingy with his presents?

At first I would get tonics, and summoning stones, but now all Nicholas the crook gives me is cheap booze, honey and fireworks.

I have never once gotten a weapon or mini pet.

Yeah, the essences were a pain to get and I got the weakest rewards for them thus far. Oh well, next week I guess.

On another thought, if the Zmissions are repeating, do you think that Nicholas will eventually repeat his requests? Sounds like a reason to clear out some inventory.

For this week Nicholas had a bad week at the Xunlai Tournament House. His bookie would not payout on his winnings. He will need some Tournament Reward Pts. so that he may get some Zaishen Keys to sell to purchase his Gwen her birthday present. So this week he will be exchanging 1 Gift for 1 Tournament Reward Point.

OT - I managed to get all the essences I needed and even sold 6 leftovers for 15k.
If I had more time this week, it would have been a very good farm @ 2-3k per essence. It's almost as good as ectos

So, tomorrow is opening-the-gifts-time, 40 in total. I can't wait. It's like I'm a kid again at Xmas

There are a limited number of items in the game, so unless more things are added, Nicholas will have to repeat... eventually. But the cycle will take a long time to loop around.

So far, Nicholas has collected trophies, random drops like red iris flowers (the wiki calls those quest items, but I don't fully agree with that categorization due to the fact that they can be sold), crafting materials, and items from repeatable quests.

Just looking at the number of trophies and ignoring anything else, Nicholas would exhaust those options and start repeating after 280 weeks. I won't be holding my breath for repeats.

Nicholas has such a monopoly going on. Think about it. He drives up the prices of an otherwise useless item, then gets thousands of said Item for nearly free - just a bunch of candies and $0.50 fireworks. I'll bet all the people selling Nicholas items in towns work for him, and he gets a cut of all items sold. He must be a rich man by now.

I have to say, I loved the farming this week.

Quick easy farms which I could do with only a couple of minutes spare.
(Not sure why everybody had thought they were hard to farm)

i traded over 650 Aged ales and 7 kegs that day as i'm not going for Drunk title so thought why not trade em for what "I" want and sell the excess essences for 15k for 5.
