It's hard to believe that Nick has been around for over two and a half years now. It's just as hard to believe (more like irritating I guess) that in that two and half years, and an average of 15 gifts per week, I still haven't gotten any of his minis.

God, I wish that was true for me. Over 2 years of religious farming for multiple accounts (I farm the stuff, my friends hand over the gifts, I give them back the consumables they want and I get to keep any trinkets I want). I have accumulated stacks of gifts to open at one time -- not only have I never gotten a mini (not exactly holding my breath there), but NO SPIDER EGG! WTF, Guild Wars? Why do you hate me?
Oh, yeah, plenty of Ascalon Razors, IDS's, VDS's, staves.... No Egg.
(I realize I could buy the egg, but at this point, it's a matter of principle.)
This feels a little off-topic.... Um... Farming tips for this week? I just ferried a bunch of flowers I had on my perma-pre out to post. Going out to Gwen's Garden got boring pretty fast.

Real men and women rove around the EoTN Charr areas and pick up the flowers they encounter.
I chickened out and picked flowers in Gwen's Garden. Zone and go out the front gate 8 times, yes boring very. I too have plenty in pre and thought of bringing them out, but meh.
----------
And I never got an egg until I got two Moss Spider Eggs in one stack of 5 gifts. Go figure.

star jewel, I was the same way about the moss spider egg - I had every pet at level 20 in the zaishen menagerie except the moss spider egg, but I did finally get one a few months ago, after doing nearly every nick week times two accounts. I have never gotten a pet, but I did get an EL crate pretty soon after it started.
Anyways, assuming we now know the entirety of what Nick wants, it would be nice to have a list of them, simply so I know what collectibles I can get rid of to free up space. There were some consumables which themselves required components. This would really, really be nice to have.

@Black Metal: Here you go!
I still have some gifts built up to open. Hopefully I can soon join the ranks of those who no longer seek spider eggs.

If the cycle is starting again, is there somewhere a list of what Nick asked for each week on the old cycle?
Edit: Oops, found it. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Nicho...veler/Research
This is official wiki, so looks like bolts of linen next week, eh? Had those but crafted 15 for kicks. Daved outside Sardelac Sanitarium will craft linen for you. Just take along plant fibers and 200g each linen bolt.

I've used Kanda's page on numerous occasions as I've collected trophies and decided whether or not to keep them. The mathematical formulas and simplicity were a style I liked, and I want to personally thank you for the work you put in. You made it easier for myself, and others, to know what to keep and what to toss.
Edit: New ambiguous update from Anet could make for interesting weeks ahead, will see what happens on Monday.

Wow, it's you! Thank you so much for your wiki page. I have enjoyed it! And will continue to use it, it looks like.
I really hope they spice things up with the update they put in today. A new item or two would be awesome.

+1 for new items wanted and new gifts given. Seared ribcages and archaic kappa shells come to mind....

I am really really looking forward to start all these stats anew. Believe it or not, it was on my very birthday that I have had the pleasure to read about the Nicholas update.
Now it would be OK to have a couple new items in the gifts and that's all; but it would be so much better not to know where and when to bring what.
(although my storage panels mysteriously attracted some weird branches and rootcakes lately)

The biggest part of the update that caught my eye was:
"Nicholas the Traveler and Professor Yakkington"
I'm curious if we might see Yakkington collect items, in some vein similar to his collecting in pre. They could opt to have Nick collect the items from the list, and Yakkington collect something random each week. After all, he is a Yak, he can collect whatever he wants. He can even give out new gifts, The Professor's Gift or some other nonsense with some new items. That would be interesting to me.

Some guy was selling Red Iris Flowers for 10K ea. Claiming the 'average price' is 15K.
That guy must be either smoking something really bad or logging in at really weird hours. The average price I see is for a full set is around 250g...500g per item, and it only goes to 1K per item with hard to get items.
Like all scammers, he got really pissed of whenever anyone told him that price was insane, and lied about having sold several ones.
And, for Lyssas sake, it's Red Iris Flowers. Even if you don't have Eye of the North they are still not worth 10K. You can always ask a friend that has Eye of the North to get you 15, it takes less than a minute.
