You have to take the individual quests from the Festival NPC's at LA, Kaineng, EOTN and Kamadan.

yeah, you only go to flyn for the reward (I did the same thing too

). Then I read the link to the event and found I had to go to each of the places to get the quest (which does make more sense since I have different characters doing different parts).

So no weapon but I have to admit that summon stone seems sick. I never use a tank hero (use minions/spirits instead) but a summon stone tank sounds fine to me, especially if it's Rytlock Brimstone with 2 elites. I'm still working on skill hunter but I think I'm fine on skill points, I have almost 600.

I'm very surprised that we are getting new rewards now (in a time I couldn't expect it less). Very nice imho although a bit strange that it's just a model from gw2 that was copy&pasted.

I'm also happy that I have all 4 proofs of the last year left (because I didn't want to take an ugly torment weapon). So hopefully I can get two rewards this year (already took the summoning stone and now enjoying wandering through tyria atm.).

Well - I honestly don't remember ever using a summon. Tonic that is usable only in towns is worthless for me. So I guess I'll go with the mini, though it's sad that rewards are not tradable

summons are worth it if you have the stones and are doing HM content, if I'm doing dungeons or vanquishes of more than one zone in a row (caravan vanquishing) merchant summoning stones are almost necessary (unless there's vendors in the zone), and merchants are also warriors so they can tank a little.

You can get a lot of mysterious and merch stones from nicholas the traveler. The mysterious summoning stones are a cheap way to have an extra ally, though most summons from mysterious stones don't have an elite skill (a few do, like saltspray dragon, white rabbit, or smoke phantom), zaishen stones from PVP summon allies with elite skills, and so do imperial guards from the imperial guards reinforcements orders, which you can get from winds of change (same with the Tengu signal flare). The other stones/items aren't usually worth seeking but use them if you have them, the shining blade horn summons 3 allies, even without elites that's a help.

Just in case, the summon can indeed be used by any char on your account (and on a side-note, I love 100b with 16 chan Splinter Weapon

).

And in case someone's wondering: you can pick the new reward even if you didn't get the torment weapon last year.

Finally finished on 2 characters (one who did it last year and the other had not)...got the mini on the first and a weapon for the 2nd (didnt have one yet on that account

)

yes you get the same dialog for either character, however, with the one that had gotten the weapon last year the option for it is not available (see images)

Uhm, I have a problem with getting my reward. I had the proofs of last year still left in my chest so spoke to Fylinn and got my summoning stone. Then I did the quest for this year and gathered all proofs. No Fylinn doesn't want to give me another reward. Doesn't matter one which char I try bring her the proofs. Does anyone have the same problems or a way around it?

Your account may only complete the quest once per event and, since you've done it once, you can't repeat it despite gathering the Proofs last time.

I know that, but Fylinn isn't a quest giver, just the reward giving person. I did the quest two times (last year and this year). Why shouldn't I get two rewards (like anyone else who did the quest two times) only because I didn't pick up the reward right away last year?

I wasn't online for the last Wayfarer's Reverie, but I must admit a skill point using summoning stone is a lot nicer than those weapons. I suppose someone could burn through skill points after a long while. The summon seems to survive fairly well compared to other summons.

It's nice to always have a summon. A lot of more average players don't have the stacks of stones. Then again always having the same one can get stale. Normal stones you have to buy, earn, and use up. Or they have some sort of randomness to them.

Also like trading in my drops for consumables and title stuff that I choose.

Does anyone else think the Legionnaire model needs some more work put into it? The head and body look fine but the neck is too long and actually looks broken and when he opens his mouth it looks like the part where his tongue should be isn't finished.
