If rune restrictions didn't exist.
You can now equip runes from your secondary profession. What sort of crazy stuff would you run?
Me? Warrior: 16 sword, 15 fire magic hamstorm, they wouldn't know what hit them.
Joking aside though, I'd probably slap on a minor or major fire rune just to get extra conjure flame damage for my warrior.

You wouldn't long on the battle field better to use air.It would be best to stick wih minors.

For me, I now tend to run earth ele builds with minor tweaks so no secondary profession runing needed
Might be slightly useful for hero secondaries such as N/Mo though.

Then you might as well make armor free to use by any profession.
And with diminished profession differences, you might as well take away all profession abilities and stick them to runes instead, and increase the gap between Minor/Major/Superior runes to compensate (+3/+6/+9).
Finally, rename the game to Rune Wars.
A game like that fine with me, as long as none of that never ever happens to Guild Wars

Rune of minor Protection Prayers on my E/Mo so I don't have to use a Candy Corn or Golden Egg to bring up the attribute just 1 more point and get -3 energy on hit instead of -4 while using Protective Bond.

It'd be interesting to run a Ritualist minion master with 14-16 death magic so I could get those extra minions. With boon of creation and explosive growth, it would be pretty damn fun.
