Closing GW Support Forum on July 16
On July 16, the Guild Wars Support Forums will close and will redirect to the Guild Wars Player Support website at support.guildwars.com. Since Guild Wars will not get new content and has matured to a solid level of automation, the Guild Wars Support Forums are no longer the most effective way for us to aid the Guild Wars community. With one consolidated site, we’ll provide you with continued support for all of your Guild Wars needs in the most efficient way possible.
Support for Guild Wars players will now happen entirely via support.guildwars.com, where you’ll be able to access a searchable knowledge base with answers to common questions and also get direct assistance from the Customer Support team. Thank you! ~SL Guild Wars Facebook |

Heh. Just made a post at your thread.
Well guess it was predictable. Pretending to be a clairvoyant i guess servers will keep running 1 more year. At max 2.One day we will enter guildwars.com main page and BAM! There will be a message thanking the users saying they are grateful for our passionate love for the game blah blah blah. Nevertheless ceasing the activities. Oh well. |

Well, the removal of the support forums wasn't that much of a big deal anyway, since 95% of the threads made by players got no reply by any anet staff or even admin. People used it as a last resort- the last possible way to contact ArenaNet (they've pretty much closed all other feedback/contact methods like mail/gw wiki portals) and that is unwanted by Anet for sure... |

Depending on how this new interview sound when it comes out more people will join the cause. The support forum being shut down is not the end of the world. The game has been automated so it can run as cost efficiently as possible if there are still people playing, not because Anet hates the players.

-Posting links to websites that support botting is not ok, even if done with good intentions.
-GWLP has been floating around for several years now (I'd estimate since 2007) and I've never seen anything of substance come from it. As far as private/offline servers go, if it's not coming from Anet it won't come at all.

i have 2 ways of paying for ingame stuff:
- ideal, which i couldnt use with ncsoft and ingame store - paysafecard, which i couldnt use with ingame store, and cant use it at that store either i have a low income, so i cannot GET and cannot AFFORD a creditcard or such, cuz of that... not where i live i have 1 merc hero slot left locked, but since anet changed this, i cant buy it anymore anet, my wallet isnt open for you anymore (and my 2nd account has no eotn, which i wasnt planning on buying, but if i'd change my mind...... and that wont happen either, anymore) glad i bought all char slots (i have a total of 35 now, cuz of NF pre order) BEFORE this stupid change goodbye to my support to anet, as i wont buy GW2 anyway, and so they wont get money off of me that way, and now they screwed this up..... bah, lets just play the game even someone like me, who had faith in them even after GW got damaged after automation, can lose their faith..... which just happened all i hope for now is that they either keep it online, or give us a copy of our account with offline and LAN/friendship based option |
