This was actually between my boyfriend and another real life friend who I just recently introduced to Guild Wars. It's more or less a gist of the conversation, though. :x

P: Like it so far?
G: Yep!
P: Okay! Well, what colour's the ground? Is it green, or red? (speaking about pre-post Ascalon without actually spoiling it for him)
G: Oh, the ground's pretty green.
P: Okay well, whatever you do, DON'T speak to the guy next to the gate with the exclamation mark over his head! Not until you've done everything you want to do, because you CAN'T GO BACK.
*after a minute or two*
G: Oh, I see what you mean. It's red now.

Heres my contribution

i was running a buddy (well kinda i did all the fighting and the others sat there) on visuna square local quarter and i had 3 empty slots after buddy was in grp so i said what the hell ill run some people for free. i get about halfway through the mish and one of the people said "do i have to pay you?" i told him "no sit back relax and enjoy the run" five minutes later he walked up and opened trade chat saying "10k here" i turned to him and siad "im running you for free i dont understand" he keeps spamming "10k here" then wen i dont pay he starts complaining and runs himself into the next mob killing himself so we had to rez him needless to say i made sure no1 did for the rest of the mission he complained and screamed how if hes not alive at the end he wont make it to the next town and as we are fighting the skiroken's group (last one for those of you who dont remember or are not familiar with it) he leaves and spams me with a few choice phrases on how i scammed him and am a ***hole and other crude and obsene language for it

Okay, I do feel sorry for this guy in pre, but it was pretty stupid of him---

Him: can I have someone's armor?
Me: you can't use other's armor
Me: what happened to it anyway?
Him: I traded it
Him: that's why I'm naked

And uh... he apparently traded his armor for another person's, only to (finally) figure out that he can't wear it.

I laughed. Then I felt pity on him. Then I just left the city. =/

For me the stupidest thing I hear daily, and the one that gets me steamed, is noob.

Don't get me wrong, I know there are people dumber than a box-of-rocks out there, but I still remember the days of newb or newbie.

A new person to the game is a good thing, they may be ignorant to the game mechanics, but that can be fixed with help and kindness. Stupidity, on the other hand, seems to be forever.
