Legitimately, the only resurrection ability in pre-searing is the resurrection signet.

Accessing storage through the Guild Hall in pre-searing was considered exploitative, and was never intended for characters before the searing.

Any pre searing survivor using old glitches like accessing guild hall, storage, tomes etc, there's nothing impressive about it at all. Kudos to thoose that managed rank 2 (or 3?) without exploits, it must have taken some serious efforts and dedication.

Nah no way, just had/have to do the quests. Pretty much everyone can do it if they can be bothered.

Actually you could technically use a pet, instead of yourself to death level the bosses to the point were killing them granted exp past lvl 16. Took a lot of patience, and time, and you couldn't be afk, but it was/is possible. I did it a couple of times just for sh*ts n giggles. Though if memory serves this was only possible after the pet command update was implemented.
Anywho, grats on the level 2 title.

1 1/2 months. 3 1/2 if counting all the failures and hard lessons I had to learn.

I stand corrected. I never knew or saw/heard about this one.

Come to think of it, I don't think that is possible anymore. I may be wrong, it's been a few years, but I think they nerfed this by preventing foes from gaining experience from pets some time ago.

You didn't even need a tome. Rebirth is core, so you can get it at the GH trainer.

This about pre-searing. There is no access to the guild hall from pre-searing. There once was, for a short time, however, that was a bug, and was never intended.

But it was possible, just like so much other 'bugs' for example necrotic travelsal which apparently never was intended but only got changed after 8 years.

None of which contradicts anything in my statement. At one point you could get to the guild hall from inside pre. From there you could buy rebirth, hence not even needing a tome.
I didn't say it wasn't a bug. I didn't say it was intended. All that was said by coast and myself was that it was possible, and I clarified that a tome was not required.

Just to bump this thread up. As of yet no R2-3 surv. I have a few r1's even a skilless I did to prove it wasn't hard. But I haven't tried to continue. Rumor is Nostromos is trying tho. Maybe one other that I know of but they aren't important. I guess I might start I dunno.

Wow congrats! That is quite the achievement. I wanted to try it at one point but the lack of drops from the vanguard enemies dissuaded me. Not to mention how ridiculously long it would take. That must have taken some serious dedication. Do you plan on going for R3? Well... Congrats again, that's awesome!

o_O nice done
all i want in pre sear is being lvl 20, for title and fun, but i suck without max armor and heroes, so became e/mo for dmg and some healing/protection
i'm planning on looking for runs for those quests, but i'm afraid the prices are insane, like always in GW
my perma pre char is lvl 10 through powerleveling, but those vanguard enemies are strong
so i forget about it until i see prices being doable (1k per go is alot, as i'd need from almost lvl 11 to lvl 20 exp, and 1k per 1000xp.... is alot to me) for such runs, and in the meantime prepare for dragon festival, i guess
anyway, nice job really

I am still progressing with Intuition at 0 deaths so far.
265 hours for r2, an additional 375 hours for r3.

I'd say I'm Very Important is a more rare and prestigious title in Pre. I'll give Legendary Survivor a second or third rank. People Know Me is probably above it as well.
