The Guild Wars subreddit is fairly active. Definitely more so than Guru has been for a long while. Actually, I only heard Guru was closing because it was brought up on r/GuildWars.

Not to worry, cosy & I will still be smacking you down in the new Trade forums.

While it is sad to leave this website, hopefully most of the active traders will participate in the new forums at gw2g. I would miss your constant complaining and attempts to circumvent the rules.

The Trade "guidelines" will remain the same, so the move does not mean anarchy.

For those whose anger means they won't be joining us on gw2g, a sad goodbye. You have made my life more interesting for years.

The activation mails are being generated and sent according to Kevin, the administrator. I presume you checked your junk folder? We're working on this, but for the time being he's activating everyone manually. But the dude has to sleep occasionally

They did look into transitioning to IPB in the past, but it just wasn't feasible. The reason I was given was that the traffic for both sites is low and they decided to merge them together. GW2DB is also going away (they never kept it maintained anyway).

As for an archive of the site, it is something that I am really pushing for. Unfortunately it's not something I can control, but it is something I can raise hell about.

Either way, we're all waiting for you guys over at GW2G!

GWG will remain in ARCHIVE MODE once the transition to GW2G is complete! That means that we won't lose any of the glorious history that has accumulated here.

i like it, looking back at some stuff i'd be able to use

in case i wont follow the forums (gw2guru looks too gw2-ish.... so yeah), goodbye
have a nice time without me, but i guess i wasnt much here, so yeah..... bye

Hey Max what happened to Legacy site? Foxfire doesn't want to open it cause it might be "bad" they say.

And what went to junk mail? I always delete contents of junk folder without opening it. Did i delete something from you guys?

Glad this site will be archived. That was really important.
