Since I'm new to the forums I figured I say hi!
I bought Guild Wars about 2 years ago, but wasn't able to play it much because of school. I'm now starting to get back into it, especially with the sequel coming soon it has me really excited to play again! Mesmers are my favorite class and the reason I got into the game, I also have an in-game guild that I am working to revive. In real life I'm an artist, and I even tried out for the ArenaNet internship that they had back in September; however sadly I didn't make it.

Well, this is my first post here. I wanted to get involved with the Guild Wars community. I don't have a whole lot of Guild Wars experience. I started playing GW last summer and had a lot of fun. I beat the Prophecies campaign and then didn't play for a while. I'm now working on Factions and want to finish the rest soon. I bought my firstgaming PClast spring and I haven't really gone back to consoles since,lol. The game highest on my must have list is certainly Guild Wars 2. It looks soooo good, as I'm sure all of you on here agree.

Also, I finishedGhostsof Ascalon last night. I read it in just a couple of days. What an awesome book!!

So in closing, I'm just pretty excited to get to know you guys and I hope you're a cool community. I've been involved in the Blizzard forums for a while and I got really tired of all the trolls and hate going on there. Definitely the most negative gaming community I've ever seen!

Greetings! I'm Mio! I've been playing GW1 for 6 years, still missing my gwamm (currentyl 22 points in HoM..) and the damn tyrian cartographer,lol. I play SoS and UA monk. I've never been pvp player,( except some attempts on RA) due to lack of good guild etc.
I had a big break from the game, year 2011 was especially inactive, and in these 6 years I've ALWAYS missed the halloween event! Always, even when I played very actively, lol.
Now I signed up for the GW2 beta and pray for Grenth that I'm chosen,haha.

I recently purchased the Trilogy and am awfully wet behind the ears! It's nice to see that there is still an active community here being that I am starting fresh so late into the grander scheme of things. Hoping to find a good guild with vent and make some new friends here. My main intentions was to get into the HoM for GW2, but it looks like I have a long way to go in that regard...but its the journey and not the destination that matters

Looking forward to GW2 and trying to get some HOM rewards and I'm surprisingly loving the game although damn there's some tough missions!!

Just a shame the game came out when it did and I pretty much dismissed it due to another game that doesn't need to be mentioned!

Welcome, There are a few rules indeed, what they are differ from category to category, so best thing is to check the sticky topics in every category. Most rules are very obvious though and although the admins are quick in closing/moving topics, they don't bite (atleast they told me).

Hi!

I'm new to Guild wars and this forum. I've been interested in Guild wars 2 and thought I would get into this before it arrives. I know i'm getting into this HUGE game very late! But i'n glad to see that there's still a big community!

I've just started up with the Prophecies campaign but am not that far into it.

I'm hoping to learn some new tricks as the game is very big and daunting at first! Looking forward to meeting new people and maybe joining a guild!!!

I think I'm having a fresh start everywhere now, as I came back from my break to discover that my main account was hacked and terminated... At the moment I am playing on an a mule until anet decides what to do with my old account

I am just in time for the Bday celebrations so i think it's time to enjoy the game again and stock up on party items while they are still cheap! I am broke at the moment so I might have to let go of some of the items i kept on the mule -_-

I'm just starting out into the world of Guild Wars after buying the trilogy set.

I got interested with the series after falling in love with the asura :P

Though I won't be playing GW 2 until later in the year at the earliest. Most likely won't be until the start of next year.

Hello Guild Wars community. Long time player here since launch and now coming off a long break since GW2 came out and I recently bought it a few days ago. I see a lot of hate over on the GW2G forums so that's why I'm still over here, where everything is positive, haha. I never used to post a lot but I'd read a lot for builds and such back when I played. I'm not coming back to "Guild Wars 1" or "Guild Wars 2", I find it better to say that I am coming back to Guild Wars as a whole. I enjoy GW2 but I also enjoy and will always enjoy GW1. Owning both makes a nice gaming experience to just switch between them. Anyways, just stopping in to say hi and hopefully see anyone out there. I still have a lot to do in GW1 and of course do what GW2 has to offer. Hopefully there are still some active, newcomers, or even vets like myself coming back to play Guild Wars as a whole.
