Problem Beta Key
hi i just tried to input my beta key for the upcoming event , but web wont let me its says for me to chk my internet connection ... so can i not set up key until beta weekend is active or is there a problem with my isp or router ? i cant open port or chk port 6112 as i have no idea how to ?? hehe i have a speedtouch modem and use bt internet .. can anyone help ?

This has been happening to others aswell. You could try every hour or so. It may be on Anets side, maybe getting things ready for the beta event and some things are down at the moment.

I am gonna suggest you all post your beta situations at the following link so if and when someone from arena.net shows up, they can see how many people had a challenge with registering before the event...

You should be able to register your key, regardless of whether the event is up or not. I just 'logged into' the client. Funny the game is now detecting my crappy onboard video as being possibly incompatible. It works ok .. just crapily. Anyway, sounds to me you could be having a mixture of firewall/router trouble. You can find out how to forward your router port at this great website:
http://www.portforward.com
It is a great website, simply click the link at the top for forwarding, and then choose your router from a list. This is the most comprehensive site I have seen yet on how to forward your port, and if need be setup a virtual server in your router to forward the port. If you still cannot figure it out or need more help, feel free to post.
