Default Video card potential problems?

I have an nVidea FX5900 vidcard. In my researching this game (i have preordered it) I saw a list of vidcards that have problems with GW? What kind of problems can I expect? Can I use this card?

You should not have any problems playing the game with your video card. Although we cannot guarantee that. Try downloading the client and logging into the server login page. If that screen comes up and displays well, you shouldn't have problems with the game.

Okay, just set your quality setting in the nvidia control panel to high quality and that is supposed to fix the problem...

There is a known issue with NVidia GeForce FX video cards (GPUs) and driver version 61.77 when the user has changed "Image Settings" to "High performance". Some of the problems include missing terrain. The solution is to change your video settings to "High quality". To do this, follow these instructions: On Windows XP:

* Open Display Properties control panel
* Click Settings tab
* Click Advanced button
* Click GeForce "Version" tab
* Select Performance and Quality Settings in left window
* In the Global Driver Settings window select Image Settings
* Move the slider to the right to "High quality"

The video cards/GPUs that are affected by this problem are:

* GeForce FX 5200
* GeForce FX 5200 Ultra
* GeForce FX 5500
* GeForce FX 5700
* GeForce FX 5700 Ultra
* GeForce FX 5700LE
* GeForce FX 5900
* GeForce FX 5900 Ultra
* GeForce FX 5900 XT
* GeForce FX 5950 Ultra
* GeForce PCX 5300
* GeForce PCX 5750
* GeForce PCX 5900
And here is the link to support questions featuring this answer above.

Hope this was helpful.

Default another Q

Sorry to add more ignorance to the conversation, but how well will a PNY - Verto GeForce4 MX 4000 Graphics Card with 64MB DDR SDRAM work with a PIII 800 mhz 384 RAM? My card now won't work, the client is laggy, but will this card help at all?

the gf4mx meets the minimum requirements. the rest of your system does as well. meeting the minimum requirements and actually playing at a satisfactory level are two completely separate things. refer to the recommended specs for good playability. also, please stop cross posting.
