I was doing the quest where you have to protect the guy getting the eggs, when he was done he gave me 2, of course for 2 different quests. When I went to turn in 1 of the quest, the guy TOOK 1 of my eggs, and my inventory was full it said. (to recieve the reward) So I dropped some junk and tried again. He took ANOTHER egg and it let me complete the quest. How can I get another egg? The guy who got them isnt there and I can't complete my other quest :*(.

I had to get an egg from somebody else to finish this quest.

I had the same bug.

I have the same problem how did you get another egg, didnt they need the egg also?

I had the same problem, but found there is a collector just out side of Ascalon city who will give you one for 5 scale fins.

He is located to the left when you exit the city, I dont know if he is there when first start the game as I never noticed him will I was about to leave for the academy.

Not really knowing what the Devourer eggs were for, I cashed in a bunch of scale fins and now have about 4 eggs on me... I did the quest for the worm guy so I don't think I really have any need for them. Is there another place to hand in spare eggs?

i have seen a few collectors offer devourer eggs. one is the guy with the bags outside the gate. another is the one next to the ranger trainer at the beginning of regent valley.
there are only 2 quests i know of that require the eggs. otherwise, they arent really useful.
