I seem to be having this problem, many quests i have been trying to do over the past couple days do not have an arrow showing me the direction in which i am to go for the quest.

Sometimes it will show for some quests and then i will log, and/or zone numerous times to get the arrow to show for the current quest i would be on at the time, and then the quests of which only a few minutes ago that had the arrows, now no longer have those arrows, and some other quests will have the arrow.

I was fortunate after i zoned a few times, eventually the arrow came up and i was able to complete the quest last night. But today i am having the exact same problem and it is so very frustrating and limiting me extremely to what i can do on the game.

I have rebooted countless times, zoned time and time again, went in party mode, and single mode and still cannot get the arrows. As I have stated before, some quests will have the arrow and then once i zone and come back to the same location, some or even all of those same quests will no longer have the arrow, and some that didnt have it before will then have the arrow.

I know this is not due to the location of the quests, as i have stated some arrows do show up and then they dissapear once i log or zone to try and get an arrow to come up on another quest, it is clearly a bug, and its a bad one which is now making me unable to progress through the game.

I know i am not the only one as i was in a couple parties that had the same thing happen to them and know of others that have the same thing when in parties and solo.

I would greatly appreciate a reply as soon as possible, and if by chance no one here can help me with a solution, i would appreciate being pointed in the direction to someone who can help resolve this.

not a bug

when you zone you go out of the range of the arrow on some and come into range of others (or might go out of range of all of them)

it is best to stick with one quest and follow it to the end before looking for others
other times there is a nasty little catch that after the quest log updates you may have to click on another quest then back to get the updated arrow for the return trip or the 2nd leg of the quest if there is one

No see thats the thing,i know about that, maybe i didnt explain it right, i have had quests that will show an arrow, but a couple wont show an arrow, so i will then log and come back or zone out then come back to the same place real quick to get another quest to show up, and the arrow/s wont show, and the ones that were showing the arrow, now arent showing, and i am in the exact same location that i was in before when they were showing.

Like last night, we had no arrow, we logged, zoned, nothing, then we logged again, zoned again to the exact same place and after a couple times the arrow came up. So its not about the distance, as when you click on a quest in town it will show you the arrow which is where the instance starts, those arrows are on every quest whilst in town when you click on the quests, and now some will show and some wont. And my point is, that i will log and come back and those exact same quests which arrows did show only moments ago, no longer show anymore and im in the exact same location. So it cant be a distance thing, if they once showed and then i go and zone and zone back or log and come back to get the other quest to show its arrow and those same quests now have no arrow and some that didnt have the arrow before now show it.

Same thing after i have gone into the instance, the arrow wasnt there, so i logged, zoned in and zoned out multiple times and then the arrow finally came up whereas moments before when i was in the exact same spot it wasnt showing.

Oh no hehe it was probably me the way i wrote it, sounds very confusing >< Thankyou though very much for replying so very quickly, i appreciate that very much. I guess all i can do is do as you suggested and go to the GW support page, i just hope someone will be able to help me with a solution to this, as i really dont know how i am to complete many of the quests without any real sense of direction.

Thankyou again, and if by chance you should hear anything else about this problem, i would appreciate you letting me know. Thanks for your help
