No, there are 5200 Ultras available in PCI, and they'll stomp a 9250 at that range.
Not only that, but there may be 256 meg PCI video cards, which would completely rock...

thanks
thanks for the advice. Another question you mention the 256meg PCI card. I read in another post that there isn't much diff between 128 and 256 when it comes to the PCI card- that a 256 just costs more money but really doesn't produce any diff results? Anyone know if that is true. And still looking for other Dim 2400 owners who are actuallyplaying Guild Wars on their machines to tell me what kind of card they have.

Okay buddy...in your situation here is the most bang for the buck!
UPDATE: I'm updating this thread with the info, not the link.
For those ppl with Dell computers with only a PCI slot, look into the 256 mb 9250 ati radeon card. Prices are good and cheap and the speed should be good enough to run Guild Wars at medium or high settings.

I am also curious to know, as my friend has a Dell Dimension 2400, over 512 ram, 2.4 pentium, but stock video card that came with the dell. I was curious to know if this pc would run guildwars and if not whats the best cheapest card I could get for it.

I can barely run guild wars on a brand new dell with the Intel video chip at work. So no, theres not much chance it will run. You would most likely be best to go with the one suggested above by Paul.

Alright, cool. Thats the card he suggested for the dell series computers right? Im pretty sure my friend has enough ram, but an upgraded vid card would help.
