I can't play as my RPG character.
Okay, before I say anything, my video card is apparently up to par, so that has nothing to do with it.
In the beta event, I made an RPG character, and tried playing as him. The screen went black, and something came up saying "Windows has recovered from a device failure. Please restart your computer to restore it to full functionality," or something along those lines. So I restarted, and tried again. Same thing. I shrugged it off, figuring this must have happened since it was in beta.
However, once I got the full version of the game, I tried it again, with the same character. Same thing happened. I then angrily made a PvP character, just because...well, I really don't know why. I then tried logging on as him.
It worked.
I played a while as my PvP character, then logged out and tried to play as a different RPG character. Holy crap, it worked.
...for three minutes.
Then the error happened again.
So right now, only my PvP character works. It won't even log on as my RPG characters now, even for a few minutes.
Help? Please? I'm not very..."computer savvy."

I know, this makes me look really stupid, but...yeah.

I do not believe there is a beginning cinema with the pvp character, that may be the reason. You can find out what kind of card you are using by right clicking desktop, going to properties, and then settings. Usually it says under "Display:"

Oh.
It seems mine is crap, as it came with the computer.
But one thing I don't get is that on one of the discs themselves, I was able to watch a cinema. The one with the elementalist girl, the female warrior, and the male ranger.

Alot of different settings when you are watching a cinema in game, screen size and such. If you are using what came with your computer (im assuming motherboard chip?) then you will probably need to upgrade. www.newegg.com A good low-end card is the radeon 9600.

Hm, it seems as though people are only having this problem in pre-searing.
