Which video card do i need??
ok here is my system specs
2.6 gigherts cpu 768 meg of ram and the horrid 82845g grapics ok my computer only has pci slot and im wanting a vid card that will run this game good anyone out there know which pci card will work best my price range is 70 to 150 thanks |

i found a gefore fx 5200 for 99 is that good enough and if so how much quality will i have to sacrifice?

Not a ton, you wont' get all reflections+hi res mode, but you can play a decent game on that card. Your system ram will help support you. I have that card in the rig I built for my GF and it runs HL2 pretty darn well, (it's OC'd a tiny bit
 ). Oh and try to get one with an active cooler (instead of just a heatsink). EDIT: I'm very sorry I did not read the whole post. PCI only? I'm really not sure what kind of quality you are gonna get. yea i looked in the computer only white slots no brown so i guess i cant play ?

I'm sure Guild Wars will run really well on a Geforce FX 5700 even if it is PCI. I suggest you buy it, you will get a good experience out of that.

Yep I actually run it on the overclocked version of that card (FX5700 ultra). I'm running it at 1280x1024 all details and it slows down only rarely. You'll have fun.
