Weird Crashes White Box problem
Hello, I just started playing GW on sunday after 2 months of hardcore WoW playing and fell in love. I actually Canceled my WoW account almost immedieatly cuz GW was so much more fun.
Well I played at my uncles house and for 4 hours had no problem. I uninstalled from his comp and installed in mine and played. for an hour it was fine then all of a sudden players would appear as White boxes. Then when changing areas and what not my game would crash. When i log back on it repairs then it's fine again for about 20 to 30 mins then the boxes appear again. It's frustrating. After reading the forums I started to think maybe it's over heating or dust or *gasP* a virus on my comp or something. Ran a virus scan only found 2 small files with small viruses on them which were nukes asap. Now my comp is good. I played WoW on max setting and other games fine without lag or crashing (other than an accasional error from WoW that happened once and a while) I've shut down most of the backgroud processes but i still crash and sometimes my computer will just reboot or go to the blue screen of death while im playing GW. It's hard to play since I'll crash midway thru a mission or in the middle of a good pvp match (W/ME  ) I was wondering if anyone might have any suggestions. I know my info is vague but I'm like stupid when it comes to the hardware of computers. Any suggestions on what i should do to start off and see what the problem is? |

i got this too just not as often. apparently is becuase lack of memory (that's what the error box says)

aye
it's strange. I have a 512 and a 256... Maybe i should opt to grab another 512... geez this game is demanding... any other ideas what it could be? I mean my whole computer crashes... any suggestions?

Mobo Video Card Memory (And its type, 2700, 3200, etc...) Internet Connection Operating System Anything else you can come up with. Thanks!
