Sometimes when I'm playing the game, the computer reboots or the video cuts out. At first, I thought this was a heat issue, so just now, when it finished rebooting after playing, I checked the temp using my mobo software and it was only 41C in the processor. The temp inside the case is only 26C. It could be a video card heat issue, but since the temp in the processor and case is so low, I don't think that would be the case. The only other things that I can think of would be a software issue, or maybe even a power issue. Here's what I've got:

Mobo - AOpen AK86-L
Processor - Athlon64 3000+ (754)
RAM - 1GB PC3200 (I think it's Corsair Value Select, but I could be wrong)
PSU - 300W
Video Card - POWERCOLOR Radeon 9800 Pro (the cheaper 128-bit version)
2 Western Digital Hard Drives, one w/ Windows and GW 40GB, the other 80GB
Windows 2000SP4
Catalyst Driver 5.1
I updated my motherboard chipset 4 or 5 months ago

I've got Norton Antivirus up and I run Spybot and Adaware occaisonally, so I don't think it's spyware or a virus.

Can anyone help?

Probably at least 400. I would go for as high as is reasonable.

My power supply is a nice 450w, Guild Wars worked perfectly when I could connect that is. My system isn't that much different from yours.

MoBo: Chaintech VNF3 (nForce3) running latest bios upgrade
Processor: AMD64 3400 (754)
RAM: 1GB PC3200 400mhz (unsure of brand)
PSU: 450w
GF: Offical ATI rad 9800 pro (256bit version) running 5.1 cats
HD: Samsung SATA 160gb

Zonealarm security suite, Spysweeper and Systemworks 2005

Even your cut down Radeon is powerhog, definately maybe worth getting a better power supply.

I just bought a new power supply hoping it would help my crashing and rebooting problems, but it hasn't. I think a new supply would be a good investment for you, given your system, but don't expect it to take care of your problem.

What was your original power supply?

I have a Dell 4600 with a 300w PSU.(EDIT#2: Now that I think of it maybe my 4600 Dell is a 250w PSU) However, Dell's always underate there power supply specs. In other words the 9800pro I use works fine. I make sure the PCI slot right next to the AGP slot is empty and open in back for extra cooling. Also you might have done this however, check to see if there is dust in your Vid card fan and your PSU fan.

EDIT#1: Also I was thinking. You could disconnect one of your Hard Drives to save power. See if that helps. The other posters on here are probably correct in assuming it IS your PSU fading out on you.
