GW crashing more times than a blind driver in wacky races
ok im really fed up with this now, ive worked up to lvl 20 despite numerous crashes along the way most of the quests were small and easy enough to deal with, but now im down at Augury with the huge quests that arent easy to have GW crash on me right near the end of the mission is just plain annoying. In past 2 days i think GW has crashed like 30 times, sometimes it freezes sometimes it just jumps back to windows and closes game down. sometimes i get ther send report other times nothing, ive got all the lastest drivers for my computer and have around 30 other games which never crash ( well not never but stable 99.99% of the time.)
heres a few examples if anyone can explain any of them id be grateful as this is ruining a great game.

Most obvious answer is corrupt ram, replace it all, or if it's 3 different pieces, remove all but one, play, see if it crashes, do this for all 3 pieces of ram. If it crashes with either of the three in there, it probably isn't ram. If it works fine untill you put a certain piece in, snap it in half and replace it.
Your crashing is eratic and random, ram will cause this. If it was a driver or piece of hardware, it'll usually crash in the spots for the same reasons. Also, you have a lot of file data corruption, another sign its the ram.

Firstly, reinstall Guild Wars and see if it happens.
Secondly, those crashes seem to be memory related. I assume that you're using a 1x 512mB plus 1x 256mB or 3x 256mB, so try swapping out sticks as one could be faulty.

thanks for advice guys, yes im running a 512mb and 256 mb stick of ram so praying to the gods that it was the 256 i removed that and so far no more crashes. also i then tried the 256 in my wifes computer and it wouldnt even get to the xp loading screen when it would boot back to start up so i guess i have 256 ram stick thats now resigned to the bin...time to buy some more ram, thankfully prices right now are cheap!...

If you do buy some more RAM, be sure to buy the exact same type as the other. The RAM you just removed may not be faulty, just incompatible.
Currently, the most common types of RAM are PC2100, PC2700, and PC3200. Mismatching them will cause them to run at different speeds and confuse the hell out of eachother, resulting in massive crashing and all sorts.
The RAM itself could be fine if it's a case of mismatching, but if so you'll still need more RAM if you won't settle for 512mB.
