Hi,
Yes, your CPU will work with the game fine. The issue is more to do with the graphics card you have. Not sure from what you wrote just then if there was a Graphics card listed, as all that SiS stuff makes no sense.
Is it an SiS graphics card or something else? Specifics on these matters helps a lot.

SiS is an integrated sound device, no graphics card is listed above.
We need to know what graphics card you have in addition to what you posted above, besides that your system looks good to go.
If you graphics card isnt up to par however the game wont run, what are you using?

the graphics card is an onboard card, an SiS 661.
I am planning on getting some kind of NVidia in the future, but I can't afford it right now.
So, do u think I could run it with the following

sorry, recognized the 760 and 741 as sound. One sec checking specs on 661...
EDIT:: Didnt find much on the sis661, but what I found wasnt encouraging. It's still onboard (integrated) so by that alone I would suggest getting a new graphics card as integrated graphics cards usually arent quite up to par.

all I basically need to know if it is sufficiant enough to run the game.
I went onto the GW website, cheaked the min requirements, but I did not know if it would fit into the requirements.
I think if I can run Doom 3 on my CPU it should be able to run it, but when I installed Knights of the Old republic 2, it didn't work (cept on crashing)
I just want to be sure before I get it.

Once again, I dont honestly belive it will work. That integrated card isnt powerfull enough. Expect the same type of errors and crashes with GW that your getting with Knights of the Old Republic.

Im starting to think about getting this Video Card
(eVGA GeForce MX 4000 64MB Video Card)
It sounds satasfactory, and in the minimum requirements. AND FOR THE LOW PRICE OF 69.99 + TAX (still can't afford) (no job....)
actually, it in Reccomended requrements

You may want to go for a DX9 compatible card, ie the Radeon 9600- its a good purchase.

Shop around. I've heard bad things about GeForce's MX series. And 64MB is doubtfully enough video memory to be appropriate.

Well, it seems that my CPU is able to SUFFICIANTLY!!! run Guild wars.
this link will lead you to a web site that has a very Broad list of games, and it scans your CPU to determine (on a scale) weather you can run it well or not.
this is a great thing to use if u r not sure weather u can run a game or not.
this is what it
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...r/default.mspx
this is what it said.
System Scan Results
Congratulations! Your computer is sufficient to play Guild Wars!
Minimum PC
Your PC Your PC has:
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) XP/MP/4 1589MHz
Graphics Card: SiS 301C
Memory: 704MB
Free Disk Space: 12.02GB
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP
Processor: Intel Pentium III 800MHz
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 100/200
Memory: 256MB Disk Space: 250MB
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 98
Note: Game publishers don't support every graphics chipset or PC component so check the game requirements provided by the publisher before purchasing the game.Note: Scale represents an estimate of your PC performance.
so, in retrospect, it gives a rough estimate weather u can run it or not.
Minimum CPU requirements were at clomn 8, while mine was at colomn 23, so I far surpassed it.

$60-70 canadian dollars huh ... not much cash to work with ...
I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that your motherboard most likely does not have an AGP slot. Something you need to check ...
If you can stretch your budget to an extra $10, I would probably get number 8 on this list : http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...asp?CatId=319&
It's a FX5200 128Mb PCI card.
If by some freak accident you have AGP, the same site offers AGP FX5200s for around the $70 price mark.

KOTOR2 is a horribly buggy release that has yet to be sufficiently patched, so I wouldn't use it as a benchmark.

My XBox version runs great.
STrange when you consider it's mostly based on a Windows Operating system anyway?

Why not save the $50 you'd be wasting on GW (since you wouldn't be able to run it well), and add another $50 and get a decent video card instead? Atleast then you'd have a decent computer and when you have more money you could buy GW.

Not sure why you would say that, I havent had even the slightest amount of trouble with KOTOR2 on my pc at all.
And isaac, read that note carfully at the bottom of your post:

Its still not garunteed to work, so dont be dissapointed if it doesnt I wish you luck with finding a decent card at the price your looking for. In my opinion its worth it to spend a little extra to get a decent card and get guild wars at a later date.
