I came home this evening, downloaded the patch and it installed it. Launched the game without much problems as well, but when I entered an exploration zone or a mission I get insane loading times, he just says connected doesn't load anything and then poof I am loaded.
While in a mission I sometimes stop moving (on screen) or attacking. I can turn normally but for the rest nothing happens, then of a sudden (after a few seconds) I get a fast forward and none of the skills have taken place.
And yes same as you, I haven't changed anything on my pc. Not even installed something new or deïnstalled something old. It came with the patch

Same here, same for my friend.
Maybe it is a regional problem?
We are both located in europe, one of us in germany and the other one in austria. Maybe it is the european servers? As i've seen a lot of complains on this.
Might as well try the international servers if they are any better.

If you rage at not being able to play GW and want to break your laptop maybe you need to do something else...

I was having them too for a really long time.... halfway through the Frost Gate bonus bit I'd freeze up and I'd lose my connection. Unfortunately, it happened once while I was with real people too, not just npc's. Sorry if any of you guys read this :S It seems to have cleared up though... lagged twice since then but not too badly and the last 45 min of play or so have been clear for me

Anyone read the news report in there game. They mention there would be a period of time that a certain data center in the us would be doing maintance. And while im willing to bet they gave times and expected times for normal services to resume it might take a while for the hicupps to go away. Since Isee this was posted yesterday around one of those posted times, I just thought I would mention it.

I have readed those messages, and I would be an idiot if I can't count anymore but these problems existed after the given time, even I tried to relog and the message was gone as well. So I thoughed yeay now I can play normal again. Guess what, I was wrong

Hmm, it seems we're all being forced to connect to the servers in Korea. The lag is due to the horrible latency between America and Korea.

It's weird because the places I get total 100% packet loss don't even have a location. Where are they coming from!?
Also note, yes, I run anti-virus and Ad-Aware periodically.
