Sounds like you may have a solution in replacing the card, but what made you come to the conclusion of your card dying?

Maybe something that others can check out.

Probably true in that the card may not be dying, but maybe I'm just trying to convince myself to get one of the new-gen cards =-) ... Anyways, people I've talked to have said that getting the 9800xt would be stupid considering the new-gen cards, so exactly what's hot these days?

Umm thats only for specific cards and that was for a driver revision that is far outdated.

Amd and Nvidia devices are fine, in fact almost all present day AMD based boards carry Nforce or Nvidia based chipsets.

I have no problems btw and I have a card listed as a known issue.

Sounds like a hardware issue if it happens across the board for all the games you run.

Probably Cooling related.

I'm having problems with my game as well. It runs for about 5 mins and just locks up only happened since the last update.

Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158)
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: ASUSTeK Computer INC.
System Model: A7N8X2.0
BIOS: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3200+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.2GHz
Memory: 512MB DDR RAM
Graphics: Sapphire Atlantis Radeon 9600 128MB DDR
PSU: 430W

I have the latest Catalyst Drivers and nForce2 drivers.
