36 Hours and Still No support. Great launch.
I'm glad I waited for guildwars. Actually, I'm still waiting. The e3 test was cool, I have been waiting for the game be released for over a year now. So this Friday after work I go out and drop $55 for the game, hoping to enjoy the game for a few hours this weekend. Install the game, enter cd key, enter email. No confirmation, not a single fugging thread on the support page concerning this topic. Yet, come to this website and see I'm not alone. Why no threads about this problem on the official site? I emailed the support and get back a message after 5 hours saying they are forwarding the problem to "Accounts". That was over 31 hours ago. You would think that on the launch weekend you would have support staff working 24/7 just to make sure things went smoothly. I assume by my long wait that the "accounts" team isn't working this weekend or that there are so many more other people in the same situation that they can't handle the volume. In either case it's poor planning. Maybe I should have just bought WoW and not waited for GW.
Unhappy customer.

I won't tell you you're wrong to be upset. I'm a little disappointed right now because I haven't gotten the game yet...EBsaver is cheap, but takes 5-10 business days...I think they are going for the whole 10...After I ordered, they came out with a free 3 day shipping (didn't know about it until after mine shipped)...so I'm with you on the dissapointed end of things, but a completely different reason...that said:
Take a deep breath...
OK...when you say "no confirmation" what exactly do you mean? Do you mean no e-mail came to you? Are you sure you entered in your e-mail address correctly? If you can get to the initial game screan, you can see if there is the right e-mail. If it will let you into the "edit account" tab you can fix it if it's wrong...If you can't get there...how far does the game load for you? If you've tried that, did you get an error message? If you got an error message, what was it...If all else fails...uninstall and reinstall and see if you have the same problem during setup...
If you've been through all that and "accounts" is all that can help you, I would guess they have the weekend off...I mean, why wouldn't they? I'm a teacher...if a kid can't get to my class on Friday, I don't have to go to work on Saturday (ok, bad analogy)...My point is...There are probably not so many people with your problem compared to the overall population of game owners...With this week's server issues (or lack of bandwidth or whatever the issue was) they probably have had their hands filled with what is a more pressing issue...making sure the people who don't have account issues, can play the game (priority for them-getting the game operational)...bummer for you, though, patience doesn't get you into Ascelon...good luck, man.

I am having the same problem many other people have posted. I am pretty certain that I entered my email correctly, yet at the login screen it says email not found Err=21. I have tried to create the account again and get Err=103 (account in use). Just type search "email login" in this and other forums.
Things I am unhappy about:
1. No, the "account" people should not have had the LAUNCHING weekend off.
2. Even if I had entered the wrong email, the system should have a reset built in if it doesn't receive confirmation within say 24 hours.
3. I sent several additional email requests, no response.
They told me that "accounts" will get back to me "very shortly". I think in the internet age the definition of a "very shortly" time response is in the range of 8 hours or less. At my company, any product launch is a big deal(not to mention this is a premiere launch). All efforts are made to ensure customers are not left in the dark.

It is also the weekend, so maybe accounts is not open on the weekend? I bet they get back to you on Monday.

this is still unnacceptable: you launch a game during the weekend, you better have techies 24/7. You DO NOT launch a game and come back 3 days later!

I am with you on this issue. I bought the game and have been waiting for 2 days for a response to the same error. If I have a big event over the weekend at work you can bet your backside that I will be there in case something goes wrong.

I Feel Your Pain
I have a problem that hasn't been helped yet either. I have been anxious about it for the last few months and I some some (err=7) that won't let me play for more than two minutes. This is unbelievable. Don't worry sweetie, your not alone.

What did you end up doing about the 103 error? I recently bought this game off of my friend because it didn't work on his computer and I can't register to play.

You need to use his account, the cd-key is tied to the email address...

Do you guys realize that you responded to a 2 month old thread? The OP has probably forgotten that he posted this, by now.
