Crash = overclocked/overheat/underpowered power supply/Memory chip timing
<span style="font-size: 16px"><span style="color: #FF0000">This information is outdated. Do not use.<br />If you need assistance please start a new thread.</span></span>
What is this crash? I got this once when the game first came out, and since yesterday, i've gotten a total of 10 times now, i can't play at all. Finaly thought it was ok this morning, after i cleaned out the inside of my comp, and got all the dust out of there... but then after i was just getting into the tomb's (which i was a monk, and now they're probably screwed) i got the error again... i was un-able to play last night, and gave up on it... and now i can't play again today.
My fans are working fine, i'm not "underpowering" my video card, i'm not overclocked (support team replied telling me i'd know if i was... guess that's obvious), and i dont know anything about memory chip timing...
But anyhow, before this, i have been playing about 2-3 hours a day, with absolutely no problems... Sometimes i get some normal lag, but normaly when i lag, i ask others, and i guess they ended up lagging at the same time... so i know that's not me either.

No, it's not err=7, it pops me onto the guild wars site, and tells me "Guild wars has detected a problem in my system"(something to that effect)
And then on the site, it tells me that my computer failed to perform a simple task, and that when my comp has any stall time, it does this test. Simply to find out if my computer is working ok.
Problems they say are related to things that aren't a problem on my computer. Unless there's something i need to know about memory chip timing, in which i don't.

you do know that chips, like Peackeepers ^^ can suffer from heatdeath?
i have had this happen to me, my chip seriously overheated, and after that, it was weakend and couldnt take much heat at all....infact, anyhting over 40 i think (cant be sure though, wa almost a year ago.)
only thing the chip would be good for after that was net browsing with a fan/heatsink that was twice as high as it needed
and, yeah, we need specs, and drivers ect too, case its something we recognise ^^
(if your room is hot, the machine is near or against a wall or theres central heating on, that also affects them. my machine has a desktop fan running next to it just to help keep the heat down lol)

Use http://www.memtest.org/ to test your memory. Let it run for quite a while. If it comes up with any errors, you probably need to replace at least 1 of your ram chips.
