"Flashing"
Hi,
I just recently got a Radeon 9250 'SE' and I am eternally greatyful to my mother (she bought it for my birthday, which was today) because before GW would crash my Comp the second I booted it up, and now...It WORKS!!! HORRAY!! but there is another problem on the horizon.
I say between 5 minute intervals everything starts flashing, the ground turns to water etc. currently it has stopped, but I hope it does not continue, what could be the problem? .... at least the people arent white cubes anymore (touch wood)

Yeah drivers is the first thing to update. Then if you have them updated and the problem persists see if you can tweak some of the settings in the catalyst control panel to set your card to new settings it may fix the problem, give us an update after updating your drivers.

Make sure whatever your previous card was, you have completely removed all the drivers before uninstalling the card. This could be a cause of your problem.
I would also recommend using driver cleaner pro, you can get it from www.guru3d.com and remove any drivers related to the card you are installing, and then reinstall the latest drivers again. Remember to reboot between uninstall and reinstall to make sure the reg is updated correctly.
If you still get this problem, then I suggest using Cat 4.11 with that level of card, which you can get from the above website and try those drivers.
Any more problems, post your system specs. They help a lot too.

I am a little sceptical of updating my drivers, because last time I updated, it screwed up my Comp royaly and now I cant get rid of error messages. It does seem to go away after 20-30 min, and I can fix it my minimizing it and restoring it.

Post your system specs and we can help you out more. Without these, it's hard for people to give you any good answers or help.
Also, updating drivers isn't a problem. It's more to do with how it's done, when updating hardware, or possibly a corruption on your PC. One thing though, if you are running, 98 or ME, then driver updates can be a pain, especially if something goes wrong, as these OS's can go terribly wrong, with an incorrect hardware removal/install.

I used to get this problem on my BFG 6800GT....I run at 1600x1200 4x Anti-aliasing...basically all settings on max.
set your anti-aliasing to 3x...GW is, apparently, having difficulty running on max settings.
