Check your graphics options, I'm at work, so I can't tell you specifics. But if there's an option for animations, make sure its turned on, and if you can help it, just turn your graphics levels up, it may help.

No dice, I tried screwing around with the graphics options back and forth and doesn't seem to help. I didn't see a slider for animations either.

It is possible that the file containing the animation detail is corrupted or missing. The nature of this game's architechture would make it rather difficult to conclusivley determine this though...

Well, I would say try reinstalling again...I know that sounds tedious but I think it might just be a missing file. Also Zero might be right. Its entirely possible that a file might be corrupt but most times a game will tell you if there are errors in reading main animation files. But I would assume they are all integrated, GW would have been foolish to code each set of animations in seperate files. But like I said, I can't do much from work. When I get home I will tinker with it and let you know. Either way, this is still just a shot in the dark.. Try emailing GW support.

Heh just fixed it. Doing a new reinstall, it kept screwing up halfway through. Then I just attempted to start Guildwars to see if it would work. The client downloaded the rest of the install from Anet, and tada, the animation now works.
Thanks for the advice all.
