ah, moral of the story....try not to be gready when overclocking?
ok, ok, i know u lot love to squeeze every last drop of performance out of your chips, but its not always worth it, unless you have the cash to change chips every 6 months to keep up with the latest games
and yeah, cooling is good, dustbunnies = bad.
and closed spaces= bad....
just bite the bullet and keep the fan there.
its noisy, makes you cold in winter and blows dust about, but acording to one mag i read, you cant be an overclocker *without* said fan hehe.
you could get a new case, fan it up to high heaven with blowing out fans on the top and side and back, and suck in fan on the front after new year...
*cause the supliers are closed till second week in january, mostly*
