Hey Im not sure where this should go but Ive heard some Arena Net ppl look around here.
I bought the game for my bro this xmas to find out that the Access Key had already been used .. my bro was upset so im annoyed .. as you would be.
Ive sent GW Support a question/e-mail hoping they would reply asap and fix this but no luck so far.
If anyone else has this prob, can you tell me what you did to inform GW Support and how it went etc cos im not getting nowhere with this and im just angry that someone in the world stole my bro's xmas pressie!
Im also just wondering if I should spend another £18 buying him the game again, but I fear it will just happen again and thats £32 down the drain.
Anyway, any info would be helped on how to deal with this and for any ArenaNet ppl looking here, please contact me and fix this.

then check out the support page, you can e-mail them explaining your problem they answer very quick. i got reply and sorted out in around 2hrs.

I'd suggest getting the game again, but get it of Play.com for £18 (if you already haven't).
It *is* rare for a Serial Code/Access Key to of already been used if it was Retailed.
If you bought the copy of Guild Wars from eBay, then it's common and no surprise that the key has already been used.
Order it again for him of Play.com here Keep him happy, and I got mine from there too, worked straight away, no messing around.

- IF, you bought this Game Retailed (meaning, not used), then YES, keep e-mailing ANet/NCSoft on the Contact link on the Official Guild Wars website untill you get answers.

Annoying ..
Well I finally got a response, very fast once I updated it
They said that the access key had been activated on 30th August, I bought it on the 8th December, I just find it ridiculous ..
Im just in the process of trying to return the item to Play.
I find it annoying that people are using Key Gens for Guild Wars ..
I just feel sorry for all those out there who have/had the same problem as me with the game, even worse at xmas

Isn't it...like...impossible to KeyGen Guild Wars? Sure with Photoshop it's easy as they don't have it protected like that...
But I'm sure GW isn't able to be KeyGen'd. :s Otherwise people would be KeyGenning thousands of Accounts and just selling them on eBay and get a quick £15 or so as many times as they want...
