Recently i just got a new computer and for some reason it is popping up with a crash error such as this

Make sure you have the most current version of Microsoft Direct X located here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx
Grab the most current official driver for your video card http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp If that doesn't work, I would un-install and re-install Guildwars. If you are getting crashes with other games / windows, you may have a bigger issue then just guildwars. |

its just guild wars and my computer was just bought less than a week ago, i know its got the latest directx, so i dont think thats it..ill try but i dont think it is

I suspect your video card driver actually from this line
Version = 6.14.0010.8133 (Nvidia 81.33 driver) Current one is 81.98 and the older 8x series drivers also had texture issues with guild wars but it could be a corrupted file in the gw.dat file causing the error. |

could it be that my hardrive is gateway and my monitor is dell? my monitor is from my old comp and my hardrive is from my new comp
