Cleaning out the registry
Hey, I was cleaning out my registry, removing stuff that didn't seem like it fit there. I was wondering, although it might be rather extensive, if we could start sort of like a guideline for that "bad" stuff that would be in there, stuff you generally want to delete.
Note:This thread is for experianced users. Nobody without proper experiance should try this. Edit your registry at your own risk.
A quick google search normally tells you what the software is.
I geuss I will get the ball rolling with these pieces of software that I do not know where they came from.
Schlumberger: Windows software for visualizing and reporting oil and gas data.(WTF?!)
Nico Mak Computing: No clue as of yet. Any tips?'
JMAPP: Not quite sure, google doesnt give any definitive results, but it appears to be something I don't want.
GemplusSomething having to do with "Smart Cards" doesn't appear to apply to any application I use.
c07ft5y: Not sure at all, although most google results seem to be not positive for this piece, any suggestions would be appreciated
Any additions to this list would be useful, Perferably normal pieces.
Im sure somewhere on the vast GWG forums there is something concerning this topic. I couldn't find it. Don't flame. If theres a thread so prominant, simiply lock this one.
Thanks
