When im playing guildwars, guildwars randomly freezes up, i can still go on the internet, but when i minimize gw and try to click on it again, all that comes up is the outside screen. My video card is NVIDEIA GeForce 6600.

I've just recently fixed my random freezing problem! Mine would just freeze the entire system which required a hard reboot. I also have a 6600GT, the problem with mine was that the fan on the graphics card was borked. It had stopped spinning and the GPU was overheating. On GW this caused a freeze, yet on HL2 and FEAR it caused a system reboot.

Perhaps you should check to see if your GPU fan is still working! It's jst a suggestion.

i had that same problem what i did to fix it was lower my memory speed down by one it was at 400 MHz now its at 333 Mhz not even really a notacable change in performance
