What I'd do is to save your money and get a AMD based system at a later date. Something along the lines of :-
Decent case - £50-£70
PSU - £50
ASUS A8N-SLi Deluxe (Socket 939) - £120 (trust me, it's one of the best boards going. I know as it's what I've got. )
Athlon64 3500+ 'Venice' - £100
A PCI-e Nvida 6800 256MB card of your choice -£100-£150
2GB Mushkin PC3200 - £120
Seagate Barracuda 120GB SATA HDD - £45
So for around the £550 mark you get a half decent PC that will play most recently released games at high detail. The best thing is that by the time you've saved the cash all the prices will have dropped significantly.
