Yup evevry single time i make a new pvp acc it lags on the profession choosing screen, same happend on my friends pc. Anyone else?

Yeah it happens on mine also, don't know why. It never used to do this before.

Its not just you, the client streams a lot of content (for the Factions preview event) at the login screen and beyond. I left my client online all night to finish the download in one go, after that there have been no problems.

Same here, it lags, and when I go to check the box at the bottom to make my own character, I am stuck for about 1-2 minutes then I get to make my character, It is driving me nuts.

Send in bug reports, enough of them get through and we can expect a quick fix within 2-3 days.

It is not just PvP it is PvE as well take a look at the post I made in this thread.

Meeh. What you're saying is lag internetwise. What we're talking about is when you create a new character, PvE or PvP, the creation screen lags like crazy. :P

it does it throughout the entire creation process for me. my computer doesnt like the new interface.

This issue has been known since the march 9th update and has been reported and im sure they are working on it.
