Guild Wars Random Freezes
ok when i play GW it will just randomly freeze whenever, and it sucks because ill be in the middle of the quest then bam froze, so i want it to stop doing that but i dont know the problem, all my other games never freeze(css, bf2) here are my comp specs
Intel 3.4 ghz 64 bit support 2 gb Cosair Value select XFX 7800 GTX 200 gb Maxtor HD 7200 rpm ASUS Proactive P5RD1-V Mobo Running XP SP2 Any help is appreciated thx |

Almost guaranteed to be overheating of your CPU. If you're overclocking, decrease overclock a bit. Otherwise you have to find some way of ventilating the case better.

Or try opening up his Case and cleaning the dust out? ;x

I actually think that this is a ANet problem. Since the FPE began its been happening to a lot of people.

Yup
Yea its happening to me after the last update.. I was fine before.. But now i get halfway through a mission and I crash... Kind of annoying...
Anyway your not alone :P |

Well it's not happening to some ppl. Played through the whole of Kurzick quests and almost all Luxon quests without a single crash. Most likely, it's system specific.

It still happening, and I know its not a heat problem.
I've updated video drivers and my directx...but after I log on, the game locks up with in 3 minutes. Will areanet acknowledge if there's a problem? Anyone know where I can find a solution? Maybe I should just go out and get oblivion for my 360 |
