I used to hang out over at the Anandtech forums. I'd post over there about my computer crap, but meh. I still lurk there sometimes. Good times, good times.
The 7900GT started to artifact for no reason at all this afternoon (in Windows - tell me this is normal, eh? Always ran it at stock speeds except when I was just playing around with it in the CP, never saved settings.) Tried underclocking it to 7900GT speeds (I have the CO which comes OC'd) - no good. Rang up eVGA, they're going to cross-ship a new one out. "Sounds like one of the memory modules on the card is failing if you're still having issues under stock speeds, we can't be arsed to troubleshoot it further, why don't you send it to us and we'll give you a new one?"
3 out of 4 parts that I've ordered (PowerStream, OCZ 2GB kit, now my precious eVGA 7900GT) have (now) either died or broken down (and RMA'd). I plan on RMA'ing the NV Silencer also and picking up that Zalman mentioned earlier +OCZ ramsinks.
Now I'm back at square one (so basically, this thread has gone NOWHERE!) I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
