anyone else getting this problem

i logged into guildwars to find i no longer have access to my factions WTF!!

it has been running fine since release but now i aint got it lol.
oh btw i know of 1 other person who has this problem

Its because you are still using the preorder key code, you have to add the key that came with the actual game because the preorder key expires today.

Note: I am stuck with this problem as I am still waiting on my Collector's edition to ship....you would think Anet would extend the grace period to accomodate people waiting on the CE. If I lose the 45 monstrous claws and 80k on my Rt I'm not going to be a happy camper.

hmm i bought the no box version only ever received 1 factions key and 3 pve free weekend keys

well if u paid anything less than 50 dollars then you didnt buy the ACTUALY game which contains the access key, if you did pay 50 dollars and u id buy the real game, search inside a little note they give u in a square shape, called "ACCESS KEY CARD" this is the key you need, if not then check on the case that holds the CD, and if it still isnt there, go tto the store in which you bought it and tell them.

If you have a storage shared with your Prophecies characters, you should put your stuff in there just in case.

Anet is not going to delete anything on your characters after 10 days.

They poorly wrote the extension messages.

Faction Character access disabled Last Night/Today.
On the 8th Slots 5 and 6 will lock (but you can still play C1 character on them till then)
Nothing will be deleted (aka no deletion in 10 days)
Once you add the retail key, Cantha characters unlock and extra slots unlock (if it's past the 8th).

I'm still waiting on my CE so in same boat.

They need to write their messages more clearly. I thought I had factions access until the 8th. Now I have to wait for my CE to ship to play my Assassin and Ritualist in Cantha.

Flammers!!!! seek knowledge using the infamous search box, there's already been a thread about this. I am one of those locked out of factions due to no retail keys, which i dont know when will it arrive because im in Mexico

So, stop the hate, anet is doing what it can do.
