every time i start up my comp i get an error message saying:

RUNDLL
Error loading w0f49832.dll
The specified module could not be found

someone please help me

If you have Windows XP, click start, click on run, then type in msconfig, then click on the startup tab at the top. Find the file w0f49832.dll that is starting up in there and remove the check mark next to it. If you're running something else other than Windows XP, let me know.

Errr.... I highly doubt the dll is actually the core thing loaded into the memory, thus is in autorun.
My best guess is it's a runtime component that some other process that actually is in autorun tries to load.

Try searching for the file on your hard drive and if you have it, stuff it in system32.
It might not be registered, so type 'regsvr32 drive:\path\w0f49832.dll' on the command prompt.

Thanks man so much, it worked now my dad's not going to stab me in the throat wen he gets home and see's and error message

Congrats, you just told him to register a form of malware.

capblueberry, has your computer been lagging or acting odd as of late? Because that *.dll file is not anything related to Windows. I honestly can't believe someone told you to register a malicious dll file. That's amazingly stupid on their part. Had they simply used Google to check for the *.dll filename they would see it's malicious. Any known Windows file would return at least one result.

You'll want to download the Anti-Malware Pro package and follow these directions (select the Anti-Malware Pro package) in order to check your system and remove all of the found malicious items. Should you need any help, feel free to post for assistance.
