enough is enough
ok i have ranted about factions. i have praised factions but this is just crazy. starting from like 4 pm est time till just now a lil b4 10pm i have been trying to do the temple quest (the one that takes u to tanaki temple or how ever it is spelled.) and each time i have gotten 5 feet away from finishing the quest and BAMMMM. i either get err 7,50,40,13 or some type of bull. i have done this quest 10 times in a row and been stopped right in front of the guy lol. i know that there r always bugs to fix but gimme a break. the quest for 1 just keeps going back and forth so if that isn t annoying enough i have to continue doing it when will it end. i have been disappointed in the way the devs have side stepped problems but i truelly hope that this problem is fixed cause it has happend since factions dropped and i know it is not on my end cause this stuff never happend to me in tyria. please fix ur server or what ever u have to do and have the game run.

It's a system error, nothing we as players can do about it. I'm sure Anet is working hard to fix the problem and ranting about it doesn't really speed up the process any, so just chill, you're not the only one that is barred from progressing by the errors.

i can see how locking gates is dramatically stopping the dispersal of people, but then again.. i can see how it is helping insure that people just comming through the game have higher levels to help them. Locked gates is also making the game longer to complete (reasoning in this thread: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s....php?t=3030944 )

If you want to get passed any locked gates, just do ALL the primary quests. It's that easy, you could skip all the other quests if you wanted.

And the current network problems aren't fixable by ANet currently, but their internet service provider Alter.net, which is having problems.

i don t care about anything but comming on poppinin good ole gw and playing if they r having problems with the servers shut the whole game down. it would not b the first time they did it. but don t allow the problem to continue and make me do a longgggggggggggg quest over and over and over again. or gimme a heads up. the very first thing that takes precidence over everything,that includes fixing bugs, making the new game, talking, is to make sure the games that u have ppl playing right now r running properlly and factions since it dropped has not ever run properlly. i am about to go play some good ole gw right now and if the same problem excists that i had last night im not gunna b happy.

shutting down the game for such a small problem would not be wise, l have done the temple quest with 5 characters and had no trouble. So l believe the problem mustn't be the servers.

Time for Anet to develop a worldwide game traffic network =P.
Apperently Alter.net thinks 50% packet loss is acceptable.
