Default Computer Crashing and Freezing Up please help me!!!

Hello all,

I have been having this problem for quite sometime now and it has gotten worse. My computer keeps freezing up on me while playing Guild Wars. I have downloaded and installed the new drivers for my graphics card and my chipset. It actually will not run gw unless i lower my clock frequencies with the ntune tool. these r my specs if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Thanks all.

Try running stress test for the GPU, and Prime 95 for the CPU stress test. Also, run MemTest to test your memory, sounds like a system instability problem, IMO.

It's gonna be memory, board, or a distant third processor.

At this point, you need to be looking into a newer system with these issues, because it's simply not worth it to replace any part but memory at this point. The performance of that system is far behind even a baseline new system, and with the move to the DX9 renderer, it will only start to punish your system more.

Hate to say it, but I know the feeling too. I loved my socket 423 with RAMBUS.
