Default Cooling Problem

Wellp, usually I'm the one dispensing advice here, but I'm a bit out of the loop on this one.

Ever since I purchased Guild Wars, back in May '05, I've been experiencing some cooling problems with my home-built system. The first issue was the video card over-heating. Fixed that by installing an exaughst blower in the slot directly below it. Temps went down dramatically. But, the CPU has always run a lil hot. But not rediculously hot... until today. But before I get into that, here's a little bit of background specs on my system:

Abit AA8-DuraMax mobo W/ 3.2 Ghz P4. (socket LGA775)
Diablo Tek Silver ATX mid-tower case.

I have 2 system fans mounted on the back, stock CPU heatsink, the exaughst blower under my video card, a system fan mounted on the window, and a PCI-slot dual fan card.

Well, as I was playing today, I got that annoying warning beep from uGuru, telling me that something was going terribly wrong. I pulled up the monitor, and to my horror, the CPU fan had stopped. I turned off the PC, did some tests, and got it back on. But, the CPU is running at 50-60 degrees C idle. With GW open, it spikes to over 80C! Sooooooo, I'm thinkin it's time for a new CPU fan/heatsink (as it's the only stock part left ). Anyway, What I'm getting at is:

Anyone got any suggestions for a good CPU fan/heatsinks that fit a LGA775 P4?

I'm looking at:

Any suggestions / advice would be appreciated! Please let me know if there is any particular brand that isn't any good. I'm thinkin CoolerMaster and ThermalTake are gonna be good investments though. Oh yeah, price range: $25-$40 pls.

Went with this based on price and reviews:

COOLERMASTER RR-LCH-P9E1 RT

Since it's from NewEgg, I can always return it.

Installed the new heatsink. Runs around 43C idle, 55C under the average load, and 55C-60C while playing GW. Not that great, but much much better than before (70C+ while running GW). Thx guys. I'd reccommend this heatsink to anyone with an LGA775 board as a replacement for the stock.

Due to the heat-wave we in England are experiencing, yes I knoe anything over 20C is a heat-wave here, I've just installed this.

The Artic Cooling Freezer Pro 64, this is on my Athlon64 3200+ 'Venice' system, but I know you can get the exact same cooler for your CPU. My CPU temps now never get above 31C under a full load. Not bad for a cooling solution that only cost £17.

Before anyone points out the lack of an exhaust fan at the back of my system, there isn't one because I have a 120mm on the top of the case and another 120mm on the side case, both exhaust.

EDIT: Just checked and the similar solution for your socket 775 is this Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler

have u tried hoovering inside your case? make sure the heatsink has no dust clogging it up (use a small brush if u have one or if ur like me a straw taped to the hose lol) whenever mine starts running hot that tends to be the reason
