whats the difference...
whats the difference between installing gw through the disks that i got and through downloading the client from the gw site?
one thing i noticed was that i have a small sound and lag problem when i install it using the disks but when i tried downloading it the problem went away. the problems occurs regardless of which quality i use. |

The version that is on disks is more or less outdated, and it gets updated to the recent version when you first start it up.
So in the end, there is no difference between the CD and internet install as the executables and datafiles will eventually be identical, only advantage on CD installs is that you don't have to download all the data from the internet. |

CD= less downloading.
The one on the site is the client with zero data. Either way patches will be streamed to your PC |
