Connecting at 0 bytes per sec
Hi,
This is a very new occurance for me, but the past week I will be fine in GW, running aroundl ike I usually do then all of a sudden I get laggy then drop to 0 bytes per second. Then 5 - 6 minutes later drop with an error 7.
I don't know how to stop this from happening, and it's frustrating in the middle of HA or Missions.
I run Windows XP, have a NVidia graphics card (Can't spell) 1024 memory thing (Okay I am not computer literate) and also on a wireless internet connection.
Anyone know how I can fix this? or is this the state of my game from now on?

I am afraid that their is no fix for this kind of stuff, error 7's just happen. I tested with someone the other night that lived ~1 hour away from me, we both got the same lag and error7'd at the same time consistently. this is making me think that it is a problem with Anets servers for an entire area. Not something on your end that you would be able to correct.
On another note though, I have heard that having someone send you a PM while lagging can prevent you from getting the error, I haven't been able to confirm this myself yet though.

Just a thought, if you have a program like PeerGuardian2 running in the backround, while trying to log onto Guild Wars, it will block your connection, and give an error code.

True. I said the same issue with the Windows Firewall, till I allowed Guildwars to run through it. Problem solved.
